Hi Members, We have been busy doing more fit out at the club over the past few weeks and would like to have another working bee this Saturday to ensure we are ready for the next Major Fly Shoot the following weekend.
If you are available for a few hours, your help will certainly be appreciated.
We need to do some general tidy up, cleaning, setting up furniture, hosing the veranda. changing target backers & general fixing frames down range etc.
We plan to work from 9am to around Mid Day, please come if you can.

I have it on good authority the conditions this morning for our club BR30 were "challenging, tricky & fluky. It certainly wasn't a fluke that Cheryl took the win, although Cheryl started off a little shacky she came home strong shooting the best card of the morning scoring 2350 giving her the win for the day. Keeping it in the family Steve got 2nd and Bruce finished 3rd.

Great session of indoor range use on Wednesday night. I am told we had three generations from one family all shooting together at one point, with the boys getting tuition from parents as well as grandparents. Lisa & David both put in some good Air pistol practice as well.
Next session planned for Wednesday 24th.
Huge thank you to our wonderful range officers Alex & Robert who made it all possible.

Please Note. The range is closed on the weekend of the 20th and 21st, except for shotgun. We are also closed for practice on the weekend of the 27th and 28th for the South Coast Fly Cup. If you need attendances before the end of June we are open Sunday 14th, Wednesday 17th and 24th for practice.

I have it on good authority the conditions were wet with a sneaky wind tonight. Looks like Bruce continued on from his win at IRB on the weekend to once again shoot the best target, a 59.02 @ 1.3 that helped him take the top spot for tonight's night fly. Steve was a very close 2nd with Peter G making up the top 3.

Don't forget - Indoor Air Rifle / Pistol is on tonight. All members welcome. 5.00-7.30 (last sign in at 7pm).

I have it on good authority the conditions were"favourable" for our monthly IRB comp. Looks like Bruce and Cheryl made the most of them shooting 25 x 10's on one each of their cards, Bruce hitting 20 centre's to Cheryl's 15. They then backed it up with a couple of 248's, Bruce would take the win with more centres than Cheryl. Steve finished on the 3rd step of the podium.
