‼️2027 SIGNINGS - SENIOR MEN‼️

Two important leaders in our Senior Men’s program are locked in for 2027, with Michael Thane and Liam Backo signing back on for another season! 🦅

Both Thaney and Backo will be key cogs in our Senior Men’s program across both grades, bringing plenty of experience and leadership while helping guide the next crop of young Seahawks coming through. 🙌👏

‼️UNDER 18 WOMENS TEAM OF THE YEAR

A huge congratulations to Hunter Absolon, Tia Freyer and Shaniece Smith, who have all been named in the AFL Canberra Under 18 Women’s Team of the Year! 👏

A fantastic achievement and well-deserved recognition for three girls who each had outstanding seasons in Seahawks colours. 🦅

A huge congratulations to our First Grade Men’s skipper Jarrod Thompson, who has been named in the AFL Canberra First Grade Men’s Team of the Year! 👏

A fantastic achievement after an outstanding season from Jarrod, who led from the front throughout our first year of Premier Division football.

A huge congratulations to Zara Neil, Sophie Alves and Isla Judd, who have all been named in the AFL Canberra First Grade Women’s Team of the Year! 👏

An outstanding individual achievement for all three girls and a massive result for our club, with three Seahawks selected in our very first season of Premier Division football. 🦅🦅

‼️CONGRATULATIONS TIA‼️

A huge congratulations to Tia Freyer, who last night took out the AFL Canberra Under 18 Women’s Best & Fairest at the AFL Canberra Awards Night! 🏅

An incredible achievement made even more remarkable by the fact that Tia only turned 14 earlier this year! 🤯

It’s been an unbelievable season from Tia, stepping up in age and grade and consistently leading from the front against players several years older than her.

We couldn’t be prouder of everything Tia has achieved this season. An incredibly exciting young footballer with a very bright future ahead. 👏👏🙌

James Collins and Nick Wain have recommitted to the Seahawks for the 2027 season. 🙌

Both James and Nick got their first taste of First Grade football in 2026 and showed plenty to be excited about. 👏

We can’t wait to see them continue developing their footy and pushing for more senior opportunities in 2027. 🏉
