We’re incredibly grateful for the support and investment in our local community. This new carpark will make a real difference for our members, visitors and the wider community, helping us provide a more accessible facility for everyone who comes to enjoy Aerial Sports in the Top End.

🌿 Live-On-Site Grounds Caretaker – Darwin Parachute Club

Darwin Parachute Club is looking for a reliable and self-motivated grounds caretaker to join us at our beautiful drop zone in Batchelor, NT.

Our club operates every second weekend — approximately 4 days per month, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a relaxed lifestyle while being part of a unique sporting community.

The opportunity to enjoy a relaxed lifestyle while helping maintain a fantastic sporting facility

🔧 What we’re looking for

The role would involve:

Keeping club grounds and common areas clean, tidy and presentable
Ensuring facilities are ready for members before each operating weekend
General gardening and grounds maintenance
Minor general maintenance around the property
Identifying and reporting any issues or hazards to the Club Manager
Taking pride in maintaining the grounds and your own living area
👨‍🦳👩‍🦳 Who would this suit?

This opportunity would be particularly well suited to a retired person or couple looking for somewhere peaceful to settle, who enjoy gardening, general maintenance and taking pride in their surroundings.

You don't need to be a skydiver — we're simply looking for the right person who is reliable, practical and takes pride in looking after the place.

📢 AGM Announcement! 📢

On Saturday 23rd May, we will be holding our AGM at the DZ after operations have finished for the day.

At this time, all committee positions will become vacant. If you’d like to get involved and help this amazing club continue to grow, we encourage you to come along and volunteer for a position.

If you’re unable to attend but would still like to nominate for a committee position, please contact Mippa to discuss further.

What a week at the DZ. The rain finally cleared and we could jump. It was good to see the loads turning all weekend.
Massive congratulations to Sasha & Mitchell. They spent the week doing their DZSO endorsement and passed with flying colours. Well done you 2.
Congratulations to Mippa on completing the course trainer endorsement. Also a big shout out to El presidentay Doodz for doing his 1500th jump.
Thanks to the legend Jed for coming up and running the courses for us and Luke, TC and Doodz for being the examiners and helping throughout the course

A quick reminder to everyone the DPC Christmas party is on this Saturday night. There will be no jumping Sunday so cone down early to get on some loads. The DZ will be closed after this weekend reopening on Saturday January 17
