Welcome to the Bankstown Sports Strikers (BSSFC) page. This page provides a place to discuss BSSFC events, policies and procedures, initiatives, services and breaking news. The following guidelines are designed to help provide a quality environment for our fans and members. Please take a minute to read them and keep them in mind whenever you participate. By using or accessing this page, you agree to comply with Facebook’s Terms and Conditions. Note that postings by fans to BSSFC's page do not necessarily reflect the opinions of BSSFC or it's Management Committee, nor does BSSFC confirm their accuracy. We understand that Football is a subject many of you are passionate about – a passion we share. We welcome all questions and commentary, including constructive feedback. We don’t take decisions on moderating posts lightly, but we do expect that participants post content and commentary that is both relevant and respectful to this community as a whole. BSSFC reserves the right to remove any posts that don’t adhere to our guidelines and to block anyone who violates them repeatedly. Specifically, we do not tolerate posts that are:
- abusive, harassing, stalking, threatening or attacking others
- defamatory, offensive, obscene, vulgar or that depict violence
- discriminatory or hateful in language targeting race/ethnicity, religion, gender, nationality or political beliefs
- fraudulent, deceptive, misleading or unlawful
- trolling or deliberate disruptions of discussion
- violations of any intellectual property rights or copyrights
- spamming in nature
- host to files that contain viruses or programs that could damage the operation of computers
- commercial in nature or designed to solicit donations
- link baiting (embedding a link in your post to draw traffic to your own site)

Bankstown Sports Strikers FC Statement:

Bankstown Sports Strikers FC is aware of an incident that occurred during an Under 10s junior match on Saturday 23 May 2026.

The matter was addressed at the time by the referee, the game continued without further incident, and the standard review process is now underway.

Unfortunately, inaccurate and exaggerated commentary has since appeared on social media. We ask our community not to engage in rumours or speculation, particularly when children are involved.

Our focus remains on supporting our young players and ensuring a safe, respectful environment for everyone involved in junior football.

Please remember: players need support, not rumours.
