With thousands of gyms and fitness venues available in Australia, why is our country are two-thirds considered overweight and obese? The answer lies within our approach as a whole. The media particularly the internet has bombarded and confused everyone with misinformation and contradictions. Social media has distorted our views on fitness. Those with big muscles and abs are considered the pinnacle of health and fitness. Judgements are constantly made. People whom do not look a certain way are not considered healthy or even attractive. Sure, there are people that are in superb shape but for everyday people that is just not possible. Life takes over and itβs not feasible to look like a bodybuilder or a fitness model. The message should be encouraging people to be active no matter how busy you become.
Our goal as fitness trainers should not be shaping you in a specific way rather it should be our responsibility in educating and empowering you to become responsible for your own health. At Strong Style Fitness, there are no judgements, there are only learning curves.
