Barwon Heads Football & Netball Club The Barwon Heads Football & Netball Club is based in the Victorian seaside village of Barwon Heads, 20 kilometres from Geelong.

Our picturesque home ground is the Howard Harmer Reserve and is located within the Foreshore Camping Reserve. The Barwon Heads Football & Netball Club (BHFNC) aims to provide the best possible environment for members to experience a community sporting club promoting participation, achievement and contribution. We are an integrated club with fantastic Senior Football & Netball teams, proud of of ou

r Junior Football & Netball programs, enthused by our Auskick and Net Set Go participants, and really excited by our emerging Girls and Youth Football success. Our Mission:

Barwon Heads Football Netball Club wishes to advise that Damian McMahon has stepped down from his position as Senior Men’s Co-Coach and will return to St Mary’s Football Club for the 2027 season. We thank Damo for his professionalism throughout the process and for his contribution to our senior program over past two seasons. The club has already commenced its coaching appointment process for 2027. Our senior playing group has been informed, and we are now progressing through a structured recruitment plan to ensure stability and continuity. We are excited to build on the success we enjoyed throughout the 2026 season, and with the opening of our new clubrooms in 2027, we look forward to strengthening our football program and providing an even better environment for our players, coaches and community. Further updates will be provided once the appointment process is complete.

The Barwon Heads Football Netball Club is proud to announce that Shannon Knox will continue as coach of the Seagulls for the 2027 season.
Her leadership, energy, and commitment to the playing group have been outstanding — and the committee couldn’t be prouder to see her guiding the team again.
Knoxy’s coaching reflects the strength of our pathways from juniors through to seniors. The Seagulls program continues to grow, with young players stepping up and finding their place in the blue and white. That connection is on full display this weekend, as our Under‑14 girls take the field in their grand final at Lara on Sunday — a testament to the depth and spirit of our club.
