Bit late but good luck to all those racing this weekend finger crossed for OBR checkered flag

So the 2024 season is fast approaching. Truck is fully repaired after last year’s little roll over at the pines. With a new paint job design (to be revealed later).

But I have made the decision to not race this year, as I am following some work dreams and heading north for the majority of the year. See how things pan out, but we may be able to fit in the DRD.

So good luck to all race teams for 2024, I will definitely miss racing this year, as 2023 was a good outcome for us with a 2nd in class in the ARB championship, even with the issues at all four events, diff, throttle, electrical and as mentioned a small roll over. This Championship is awesome and only to get better so well done to all involved, ARB, the clubs and officials.

So, keep posted and let’s catch back up in 2025 when we can reveal the new color scheme.

Safe racing!!!!

So today we got word back from the power steering mob that the steering box is ok but has a little slop that’s an easy fix but the pump is shagged,
cause of issue not changing oil enough and contamination.
So new pump and all good

Well, the ARB Off Road Racing Championship 2023 is done and dusted. Congratulations to all those that competed and to all the winners.
For us it was a year to remember. Rainbow cost us a diff, but we finished (3rd in class). Hillston we had throttle issues, but we finished (3rd in class), Gundy burnt out a relay, and again we finished (4th in class). this put us into 2nd in class for the championship and still 7th outright. So going into the last round we knew we could not lose 2nd in class, but if luck went our way, we might snag 1st in class.
But unloading the truck on Friday the steering did not feel good, so check over Saturday morning and a quick change of power steering oil we thought the problem was solved. how wrong where we, started getting harder in the prologue reconnaissance.
And this is what lead to the roll over, it locked up and I could not bring it back, the back wheel dug in and as they say the rest is history, but it was spectacular and in front of the crowd.

"BUT" we came away with 2nd in class 4 for the ARB Off Road Racing Championship and a 10th Outright so all in all we are stoked. And what a fantastic championship it is, so to all involved ARB, all 4 clubs Murray & Julie Rogers and everyone else well done.

I would like to thank the following people/companies for either their Sponsorship or support.
Navigators;
Joe Cassise, (Rainbow and half a prologue Millicent)
Ben Farley, (Hillston and Gundy) great job boys and loved having you both beside me.
Luke Erceg "Erceg Custom Engineering" for suppling me with a truck that just awesome and tough (little mishap proved that) and the ongoing support that Luke provides thanks mate.
Cam Ritchie "Racer Imports" bets service going around, thanks mate.
Triton Engineering for the design, just love it.

Sponsors;
Miller Pipe & Civil, Southern X Energy, Solar City Tyres and the boys at MTS 4X4 & Dyno what a crew all way's there to help and keep the truck going thanks so much could not have achieved what we did without you.

And Lastly to all my family for allowing me for going out and doing what I love and sharing it with me. I know you all can't be there for every race, but your messages mean the world.

Sorry that the video is not the best quality, I m sure there will be better one doing the rounds soon.

This is what makes it all worth while 😁😁😁
