50 Senior Games for Tommy J 🐯

Today we celebrate Tommy Johnson as he runs out for his 50th Senior Game for the Tigers.

Tommy has become a valued member of the club through his commitment, toughness and team-first attitude. Week in, week out, he gives his all for the jumper and is someone his teammates can always rely on.

Congratulations on reaching the 50 game milestone, Timmy J. A fantastic achievement and one the club is proud to celebrate.

Best of luck today against Yack. Here's to many more games in the yellow and black.

🐯 GAME DAY - ROUND TEN 🐯

The Tigers hit the road today as we take on Yackandandah on what looks set to be a wet and muddy day of footy and netball.

Pack the raincoat, bring your loudest voice and get behind our players as they look to bring home the points.

Then don't forget to head back and get cleaned up for the return of the Barny Ball tonight. Doors open from 6.30pm for what promises to be a fantastic night with great company, plenty of laughs and a chance to celebrate the season so far.

We're back! 🙌

After a weekend off and a week without training dinners, it'll be great to have everyone back around the clubrooms tomorrow night.

Join us from 6pm after training for Chicken Kyiv with all the trimmings, followed by a slice of Choc Ripple Cake for dessert.

A good feed, good company and another chance to catch up before a big weekend of footy and netball.

We’re thrilled to share that Jayden has been selected in the 12 and Under Victorian team, with JJay named as an emergency.

To have two Barny boys finish in the final 23 from a field of more than 1,200 players is an incredible achievement.

Well done boys. We’re all incredibly proud of you! 💛🖤🐯

On behalf of the Barnawartha Football Netball Club, we are incredibly proud to announce that this year’s Annual Ladies Charity Day raised a total of $19,194.60 for Victoria Police Legacy.

Victoria Police Legacy provides invaluable support to the families of Victoria Police members who have lost their lives, and we are honoured to contribute to such a worthy cause.

We would like to sincerely thank the many local businesses that sponsored and donated to our event. Your generosity and support play a vital role in the success of the day and we are extremely grateful for your contribution.

A special thank you to the local police members who attended and participated, our live musician Georgina Bish, and our guest speaker Emma from Bellevue Clinic. Your presence helped make the day memorable and meaningful.

To everyone who generously volunteered their time to help set up, and assist throughout the day, thank you. Your hard work makes these events possible.

Finally, thank you to everyone who attended, donated, purchased raffle tickets, and supported the event in any way. Your generosity will make a real difference to families supported by Victoria Police Legacy.

A huge congratulations to Jjay and Jayden from our Under 12s side on an outstanding achievement, and credit to coach Josh Spence on job well done.

Out of more than 1,200 boys who trialled across Victoria, both have progressed through Regional, Country Victoria and Metro Victoria selections and now find themselves among the final 38 players remaining in the state pathway program.

Over the past few months the boys have travelled to Melbourne on four occasions, competing against some of the best young footballers in the state and representing Barny with pride every step of the way.

This Friday they’ll find out if they’ve made the final squad of 20.

To have two players from our Under 12s reach this stage is something our entire club can be incredibly proud of.

Good luck boys. No matter what happens on Friday, you’ve already achieved something very special and represented the Black and Yellow exceptionally well. 🐯💛🖤🏉
