❗️How to make a submission to the Moreton Motorsport Park Ministerial infrastructure Designation Application❗️

❓What is a Ministerial Infrastructure Designation Application❓

🔹Because the proposed Moreton Motorsport Park is considered to be ‘community supporting infrastructure’ as it is a sporting facility, the proposal is able to be considered as a Ministerial Infrastructure Designation, or MID.

🔹The MID process provides an alternative process for lodging a development application with Local Government. The process is managed by the State Government (Department of State Development, Infrastructure and Planning) with input from other government agencies. Ultimately, the planning minister is responsible for making MID decisions.

🔹As part of the MID process, the MMP team has undertaken comprehensive surveys, modelling and reporting in relation to potential impacts, including noise, environmental and traffic. The team has also undertaken a detailed analysis into the community and economic need for the facility and the benefits which will flow from it. This information is provided on the MID portal for review, during the public consultation process.

Well that’s a wrap after 13 years of racing and stewarding at NBJMCC it was Sunstate’s final hurrah, being a life member of the club we’ve had our ups and downs over the years and we always knew the track was slayted to be reclaimed by the BCC but I know that the club will still hold together into the future, and as the secretary of Outlaw Karts Qld Inc we also thank Sunstate for their support in allowing us to run on the program.
Unfortunately the track at Gatton Showgrounds is to big for Outlaws to run at but it’s great that Sunstate and Lockyer Valley have negotiated to run three race meetings to finish the season 🏁

Many thanks to the committee and volunteers for yesterday’s race meeting

And a hugh shout out to Lane Herron for Stewarding yesterday which gave me a chance to have a skid 🏁🙌🏼

Saturday fun at Kingston Park 🏁

Well that was a long trip down to Tailem Bend,
trip down was hectic with bad weather and poor fuel economy but finally made it to the amazing venue called Tailem Bend.
On arrival we got to catch up with all the amazing families and competitors from Outlaw Karts from other states
Friday got the race gear out and tools to fix the wing and set up ready for racing,
Interesting first night with me not finishing much at all with a very slippery track and lack of talent 😂
Second night a better effort but still lack of talent after being out of the seat for a year, unfortunately I had the radiator drop into my lap due to metal fatigue of the tabs holding it in place (track was really rough) all that aside it was a great event and thank you to all that put the race meeting together and volunteers.

Thank you to all Outlaw Kart Families for travelling it was great meeting you all and so much fun interview the kids 🙏🏼
