💛💙 WHAT A WEEKEND FOR OUR CLUB 💙💛

On Saturday, Golden Plains Soccer Club hosted the FV Geelong Women’s Semi-Finals. With six games & 12 teams it was a fabulous day of football that showcased our wonderful grounds, club and community.

We also had four teams competing in Semi Finals 👏 . A huge congratulations to our Under 13 Girls, Under 13 Boys and Division 1 Men, who all won their games and are now heading into their Grand Finals this weekend! We are incredibly proud of how far each team has come.

Unfortunately our Division 2 Women’s Team fought a hard contest against Corio Bay SC at home but were narrowly defeated 0-1. The girls have had a fantastic season & should all be very proud of themselves ! The Club would also like to thank their Coaches Dek & Angus for their wonderful commitment to the team !

The excitement continues this Saturday, with Golden Plains once again entrusted to host FV Geelong Women’s and Junior Girls Grand Finals.
We’re looking forward to another fantastic day of football!

A heartfelt thank you to all our club members & their families who volunteered & supported the club, with the first week of finals. Hosting events like this simply wouldn’t be possible without you.

Lastly a big thank you to Golden Plains Shire in assisting with grounds maintenance leading up to these two very busy weekends !

What a fantastic way to celebrate the end of our season, filled with colour, laughter, fun and wonderful community spirit!

A huge thank you to Alyssia and Corina for organising such a wonderful event. The kids had an absolute blast, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening!

Golden Plains SC is excited to be hosting Community Finals.

This Saturday we host Divisions 1,2 & 3 Women’s Semi Finals.

This is a great opportunity to share our wonderful facilities with the wider soccer community & to show off our wonderful Golden Plains hospitality!

The Committee now seeks volunteers to help out !

🦅 JUNIOR RESULTS 🦅

It’s finals time for our U13 Teams !

Our U13 Boys finished their regular season with a strong 2–1 victory over Surf Coast! 👏⚽️

A fantastic way to finish the regular season, and now the boys turn their attention to the semi-finals. They’ve worked incredibly hard all season, and we can’t wait to see what they can do in finals football!

Our U13 Girls had a tough battle against Barwon, going down 5–1. But despite the result, our girls should be extremely proud of the season they’ve had.

They’ve secured their place in the top four and will now head into finals! 💪🦅

A huge congratulations to both our U13 Boys and U13 Girls on making finals. Our club is behind you all the way! ⚽️

And finally, our U15 Mixed wrapped up their season over the weekend with a 2-7 result.

Unfortunately, that brings their season to an end, but there is plenty for the team to be proud of. They’ve put in the work, battled through the season, represented our club every week and had a lot of fun along the way ! 👏

A huge thank you and congratulations to our U15 Mixed Team on their terrific season. 👏

🦅 SENIOR RESULTS 🦅

What a way to finish off the regular season for our Senior sides!

Our Senior Women finished their season in style with a fantastic 3–1 victory over top-of-the-table Drysdale! 👏

The ladies fell agonisingly short of the Minor Premiership, missing out by just three goals on goal difference. But what a statement to finish the season with a win against the team sitting on top!

A huge congratulations to our Senior Women on an incredible season. Now the real work begins as they turn their attention to FINALS! 💪⚽️

Our Division 1 Men also continued their strong form, coming away with a convincing 4–1 win over Deakin.

Another terrific result to cap off a strong season, and now the boys turn their attention to the much-awaited semi-finals. Bring it on! 🔥

And finally, our Division 3 Men absolutely put on a show, finishing their regular season with a huge 10–0 victory! ⚽️
They finish their season with an incredible +38 goal difference, capping off a very successful season. Unfortunately, they just fell short of securing a finals spot, but they should be very proud of what they’ve achieved this year. 👏

Congratulations to all of our senior sides on their seasons.

The regular season is done, but for two of our teams, the job isn’t finished yet . . .
