So proud of all of my team. You've all come so far with your strength, form and understanding of why we perform certain exercises and how they translate in real world function.

It's been a real pleasure training you all. Can't tell you how proud I am or you all! Gonna miss you all! 💖

One of my fave action shots from our Thursday 6am HIIT battles.
This is where we partner up, pick a station and challenge each other whilst motivating each other.

1min fast pace box jumps x 2, 30sec rest
1 min rest between stations
1min battle ropes x 2, 30 sec rest
1 min rest
1min x high wall balls x 2, 30 sec rest

All this after 45 mins of strength training and a 10 min HIIT session (6×30sec Sprint) on the rower!

Ben has been training with me for just over a year whilst living fifo life. Makes it hard to fit structured training in to your life, but since I'm now based out of Osbourne park Ben has joined Total Worx and his deadlifts and squats are really coming together now. Here we are trying to address a lack of explosiveness throughout the lockout portion.
2 sec beltless pause deadlifts with the pause just below the knees. This is the end of a brutal bench and deadlift session. Proud of this guy, hes come a long way.

Thursday 5.15am. Who would think our stregth circuit is almost always at peak capacity?! But they are! Even in the pouring rain and darkness of winter 💪👊

Session 1, of 2 on Thursdays, is a structured and tailored strength circuit using cable machines and freeweights. Each week we focus on different areas whilst always managing to hit both upper and lower body. As the weeks progress so does the program. Shifting from hypertrophy (muscle growth) to CNS adaptation to utilise the muscle you've been building up in the prior weeks to get stronger. If you want to get stronger and look healthier, come in on Thursday mornings. Session 2 hits cardio fitness, core strength and mobility.

Our thursday 5.15am and 6am sessions are not for some. They are hard and intense but very effective.
During session 2 (6am) we work on explosive fitness, core and work on increasing mobility through consistent and thorough stretching. Each person is run through every exersize to ensure maximum results and minimised risk of injury through greater understandong of correct technique and bracing.

Had a killer weekend down in Collie thanks to old mate, Matt VB. Shooting, a mad roast and veg dinner and a good training session down in Bunbury south Western Australia. Thanks for the use of your gym while you were in Perth.

Wasn't planning on any singles, but when one of the strongest men you know offer to wrap you, you dont make excuses. 2 failed 180kg attemps so dropped back and just got the 170lg (equal gym pb)with a slight spot. Tell you what tho, was good to have that spot or I dont think id have gotten it up in my own 😅
Haven't even done much squatting the last few months. Good start to my comp prep tho, equal pb.

Been postponing deads for a while... been a little disheartened with my loss of strength due to poor health during the first half of the year. But health is back on track, so no more excuses.. 185kgx4. Was meant to be 180kgx5 but i thought I'd chuck on the comp collars...shoulda stuck to the program damnit, woulda hit the 5 programmed reps 🙄😅

Was also after doing bench and core earlier in the day... more excuses haha

Day 1
Brad has just restarted his fitness journey. I used to train him many moons ago. Now he's back with a vengence.
Both of us love boxing so where else would we start than a good intense block of boxing. Nothing even compares to boxing when it comes to rapid fitness improvement. It is a fun form of HIIT and there is no running involved 😅
Watch as Brad gets his stanina and flow back over the coming weeks and months.
