We will show you what the hobby is about and how to learn to fly a real RC Helicopter Established in 1987, Melbourne Radio Controlled Helicopter Club Incorporated is the oldest R/C helicopter only club in Australia. We are located on the grounds of Cornish College, Riverend Road, Bangholme and get together just about every weekend and public holidays to fly and chat about radio controlled model he

licopters. The club aims at getting new comers into the hobby up in the air, helping them learn the basics of flying, maintenance/repairs and ensuring you have a positive experience in starting out in the hobby of RC helicopters. With a large modern club room with 240v for charging, several MAAA qualified instructors, a training model and more than 60 members, we have the knowledge and experience in many disciplines such as Scale, 3D and F3C to help you get the most out of the hobby. At MRCHC you will find nothing but good advice and great people who are more than happy to assist, with a friendly non-pretentious environment. We hope to see you soon!

Well unfortunately the weather kept us from running our fun fly, but that didn't stop a few of the members from having a fly. Near miss of the day goes to 'Lucky' Phil who looks to have had a ball back out on the blade grip in mid flight and was able to make it down in one piece. The only real damage was hitting the flag when he landed ;)
