Old Camberwell Grammarians Amateur Football Club Promoting local football Old Camberwell Grammarians' Football Club has proud playing history of over 60 years in the Victorian Amateur Football Association.

Each week during winter we enable 100+ young men and women to take to the field in a competitive and family friendly environment. Players learn teamwork, accountability and leadership skills, whilst building self-confidence and mental and physical well-being.Although we are affiliated with the school and maintain a strong relationship with CGS, we are not solely an 'old boys club'. We welcome all

players with all skill levels from all background. Some of our best players have come from outside of CGS.

2026 BIG FREEZE💙

Last week, the Wellers came together for a cause bigger than footy. Thank you to all of those that donated, voted and got involved in our Big Freeze round.
The club raised a total of $2305 to support vital research and care for those impacted by MND.

Footy has a way of bringing people together and the last week was a reminder of how strong our community is at Old Camberwell.

Yesterday we finally got the chance to celebrate 50(+1) games in the double blue for Briony Mellor 🤩

First hitting the field in a Covid-interrupted 2021, B quickly made a name for herself as a defensive winger. Only playing a few junior games before joining the Wellers, she went from strength to strength, rewarded with a Most Improved award in 2024. Despite injury setbacks, B has never wavered in her courage or tenacity, and proves a true barometer for our Senior Women’s side.

Off field, B can always be trusted with the function playlist, the post-game bevs, and bringing people together.

Congrats B 🩵💙
