Our new 245 litre dual compost tumbler.

When the first side is full, you fill the second side. By the time the second side if full, the first side has composted and ready to empty and fill again.

The winder handle uses a large gear around the end of the panel, making it easy to tumble.

The opening has two covers. One for adding new compost and one for existing composting.

We are waiting for the small barrow to arrive. It sits underneath the side being emptied.

Took 70 minutes to assemble, and with no problems.

This large garden area of 25m long x 10m wide, comprises of a Mt Fuji Cherry Blossom, a Weeping Silver Birch, a maple, a weeping rose, five unknown and two known rhododendrons, and a few azaleas.

Today, we planted in there fourteen known rhododendrons and two azaleas, that were gifted to us by the Australian Rhododendron Society Victoria for opening our garden last Sunday.

These will put on a fabulous spring display at some time in the future.

Who likes the look and sound of a running water fountain in the garden?

We do, and it dawned on us the other night, that we forgot to turn it on because we got distracted just before 11am on the open day. Haha.

So here it is !!
