I’m still feeling the adrenaline of the competition πŸ˜ƒ

I was supposed to do the Hyrox Pro last year in Sydney and I am so grateful to have broken my pinky toe so that I couldn’t compete.

πŸ™…πŸ»β€β™€οΈLast year β†’ doubt, fear, β€œwhat if I can’t?”
πŸ™ŒπŸ»This year β†’ certainty, commitment, β€œI’ve got this.”

Here’s are the lessons during my training journey:

πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈBe all in. β€œAre you in or are you out?” β†’ This year, I chose fully in.

β€οΈβ€πŸ©ΉRecovery is part of the training β†’ I now treat it as non-negotiable, not optional.

🍚Fuel your body β†’ Eating more + electrolytes = better performance, not guilt.

🐌Zone 2 isn’t lazy β†’ it’s building real aerobic capacity and giving the muscles a break from a high intense session.

πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈProgress runs mindfully β†’ small increases, listen to the body, let go of unhealthy ego.

πŸ‘£Stay in your lane β†’ Less comparison, more presence in my own progress.

I was 27 when I finally decided to leave behind the fears and language barrier to leave my country.

Have you ever felt constricted and unfulfilled where you are at?

I was exactly feeling like that..

In 2010 I decided to visit Sydney with a friend.. and I left my heart here. πŸ’«

I still remember one of our last days.
It was a cloudy day in Narrabeen beach.

No one was around.

Only us, the waves.. and that feeling of peace and freedom I have never felt before.

We left after three months and despite I lived in another country for the following year, my heart was pulling towards Australia.

And I listened..
On the 25/01/12 I landed in Sydney.
Exactly 10 years later, on the 26/01/22, I became citizen.

This post wants to be a reminder to listen deeply to your heart.

To listen the feelings in your body.

To follow what you are pulled towards.

It doesn’t matter how crazy can sound to someone else or even to you.

Because that voice you hear and those feelings and chills you have, are not random.
You are not imagining them.
They are there to guide you in your path.

In my entire life I have received so much love from my family and friends, I would have called myself β€œfree spirit β€œ and β€œMiss Independent β€œ and still, I would find myself chasing for Love externally.

The root cause was that I was lacking self love and it’s only when I found myself lost and disconnected that I realised that I had to do something about it.

Following my intuition and trusting the process was a big part of the process.

By sliding the pictures, you can read what personally helped me to pour love into my mind-body and spirit.

Self love is a unique discovery journey that cannot be taught and everyone experiences in their unique way, however, you may relate and find some insight from my story.

This slogan is a part of what I do since April 2020 and what I believe for very long time.

In the past 5 years, I have learned (from my own personal experience and also learning from my clients), to detach from the actual words by approaching them in a more meaningful way.

Being fit, strong and active has a different meaning for each of us and it definitely doesn’t help to compare ourselves to others.

Most importantly, being fit, strong and active has a different meaning in each stage of our life and it definitely doesn’t help us to compare ourselves with what we used to be (unless it becomes an healthy fuel that leads us to our full potential).

This wants to be a reminder to check in with ourselves the meaning behind these words more often because that’s where lies the reason that keeps us going.
