Iβm still feeling the adrenaline of the competition π
I was supposed to do the Hyrox Pro last year in Sydney and I am so grateful to have broken my pinky toe so that I couldnβt compete.
π
π»ββοΈLast year β doubt, fear, βwhat if I canβt?β
ππ»This year β certainty, commitment, βIβve got this.β
Hereβs are the lessons during my training journey:
ππ»ββοΈBe all in. βAre you in or are you out?β β This year, I chose fully in.
β€οΈβπ©ΉRecovery is part of the training β I now treat it as non-negotiable, not optional.
πFuel your body β Eating more + electrolytes = better performance, not guilt.
πZone 2 isnβt lazy β itβs building real aerobic capacity and giving the muscles a break from a high intense session.
ππ»ββοΈProgress runs mindfully β small increases, listen to the body, let go of unhealthy ego.
π£Stay in your lane β Less comparison, more presence in my own progress.
π«Trust the training β From forcing outcomes to actually enjoying the process.
What once felt like a setback (breaking my pinky toe) became the shift I needed ππ»π«π
I want to say a big thank you to everyone who supported me along the training journey and for all the βgood luck β messages I received on Friday. Thank you, thank you, thank you ππ»
