📢 Calling all Balmain Past Players! There's still time to organize and gather your old teammates for an exciting opportunity. Join our Masters players for a friendly match as part of Heritage Round at Birchgrove Oval.

🏉 The match starts at 4pm, with teams consisting of a mix of Masters and Past Players. The game will be played in 4 shorter quarters of around 10-15 minutes each. It’s all about Footy For Fun, where you control the pace and don’t have to worry about high knees, overly aggressive tackles, 6-6-6 starts, or standing the mark.

Come early to catch the Platinum League Reserves and Seniors in action against North Shore Bombers from 12 pm onwards! 🐯

🎉 Huge congratulations to Joel “Goose” Gray who will play his 25th game with Balmain AFC Masters at Mahoney Oval this afternoon! Having already celebrated a 150 game milestone with Balmain AFC Seniors, Goose will achieve the remarkable feat of becoming the first Tiger to reach milestones in both divisions. 🐯🏉

Goose is a true forward powerhouse, blessed with a thumping kick, safe hands and incredible goal sense. After winning the 2021 Bill Murphy Award for the Reserves Best and Fairest, he made the decision to join Masters. Throughout 2022 and this year, Goose has balanced his time between both Masters and Reserves and made a significant impact in both, polling 3rd for Reserves and 5th for Masters in 2022 match votes. He capped off his first Masters season by winning 2022’s Golden Head award for Best Forward. 🏆🔥

Goose’s dedication to Balmain is unparalleled and we eagerly anticipate his journey to further significant milestones and success! 💥👏

🗓️ On Saturday 5th August, we will host Heritage Round at the iconic Birchgrove Oval! The Reserves and Seniors will face off against the North Shore Bombers, a fellow NSW founding club at 12pm and 2pm respectively. The Masters will then wrap up the day with an intraclub match at 4:10pm. 🏉

🎟️ Don't miss out on the chance to win an exclusive framed Sydney Swans guernsey, signed by the 2022 playing squad! Generously donated by Ben Thomas, this prize is up for grabs in our raffle.
