Todd has a few pairs of now. He got in contact after a new bike purchase, a Turbo Levo. He planned on taking the bike to the limit, and knew the stock wheels would not be up to the task.

We specced up a set of killer hoops - eMTB specific hubs (super HD hubsehll, bigger bearings, steel axles and freehub), Strong spokes, and the venerable MD30 rims.

Metron 40 rebuild for John. Corroded alloy ni***es and old spokes replaced, rebuilt to better than original factory tensions, and wiser specs.

We rebuilt both wheels with Race straight pull spokes and brass ni***es.

A great set of wheels that just needed a bit of love, for another 10 years of service. Way cheaper than a new set ...

Aeoleus 5 rebuild for "The Fridge". The rear had suffered a severe impact and had cracked, so we had an equivalent rim made (as part of our custom carbon rim programme).

We rebuilt both wheels with CX-Ray spokes and DT Swiss internal ni***es.

Why just ditch a fast set of wheels after a setback? For a meagre cost, we can rebuild to better than original specs.

Quick rebuild for Adam (no, Araldite won't seal up a heavily dented rim!).

Top quality Duroc 30 24" rim.

We love the aftermarket rims - shot peened, welded join, light and tough. A perfect replacement for the OEM rim on your bike (might have the same name, but they're not as good as the aftermarket rims) or on a new build.

Chris had some reasonable service from some generic online carbon wheels of unknown origin. But all good things come to an end.

The front rim failed, so we relaced it onto a custom made rim, with CX-Ray aero spokes and brass ni***es. All on his original hub.

We're confident he'll get way better life out of this wheel ...

Graeme is a lovely bloke who lives nearby and loves to tinker on his own and his friends bikes.

He's always bringing is interesting stuff for us to build or repair, and in this case a "wavy" carbon gravel rim of unknown origin. Built onto a tried and true hub with Race double butted, she's good to go.

Is it more aero, or more stable? Who knows? But it does look cool ...
