Towing in and tow boards played a big part in my surfing life a long time ago. Unfortunately, the hype, stupidity, and ego associated with such activities became such that I couldn't stand to be associated.
Paddling into such waves provided me with more focus, appreciation, and a sense of self-worth.
I still love paddling into large waves, but at 60 years young, I am aware that there will be days that I may not physically be able to paddle out to enjoy those waves.
Hence, the yet unridden 5'10" quad tow board. Despite my inquisative, desire to ride this little beauty, I am in no rush to tow and reduce the pleasure of human achievement.
