Join us for a relaxed afternoon as we come together to remember our mate, Clae Webb. Whether you knew him well, shared a few laughs with him over the years, or simply want to reconnect with old friends, we’d love to see you there.

A massive congratulations to our very own Lila Standfield on getting selected in the NSWCCC U16s Girls Rugby League side!!

Congratulations to Lila, who was selected to attend the Northern Selection trials in March before progressing to the next stage & this week, attending the Combined Catholic Colleges Northern Country trials in Sydney for the opportunity to be selected in the NSWCCC team. Lila excelled & gained selection. Reaching this level of rep sport is a fantastic achievement & reflects the hard work & talent of this young lady. Everyone at SMCC is so very proud of her & her efforts!

Emerging Blues Squads for 2026

Congratulations Asha Ledingham

The Emerging Blues Program has been designed to identify and develop the next generation of elite Touch Football athletes across New South Wales, providing players with access to high performance education, mentoring, coaching, and development opportunities both on and off the field.

The program aims to bridge the gap between affiliate and representative Touch Football, helping athletes further develop their technical skills, game awareness, leadership, professionalism, and understanding of high performance environments.

It also provides athletes with exposure to NSW Touch Football pathway expectations and prepares them for future opportunities within regional, state, and national programs.

Throughout the program, athletes will work closely with experienced coaches, mentors, sports science consultants and our high performance staff who will support their growth and development across all areas of the game.

The Emerging Blues Program continues to play a significant role in strengthening the future of Touch Football in New South Wales and creating clear development opportunities for talented young athletes from across both metropolitan and regional areas.

Winter Competition

Round one on Wednesday, the 6th of May, 6 to 7:30 pm

Team registrations must be completed by the 30th of April at the latest.

Player registrations remain open. Please ensure all players are registered before taking the field.

Player Registration cost $65. Players who participated in the Summer Competition last season will remain covered under insurance and TFA and NSW membership fees for the Winter Competition.

Predominantly mixed competitions. A maximum of 3 guys on the field at one time. (not enforced but very encouraged)

Age Restrictions – Kids turning 13 or 14 in 2026 are permitted; any kids younger will require committee approval. We would like teams to understand that if your side is young, we expect at least two adults on the field to help guide and to maintain a level of competition that is regarded as a senior social level.

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting for Ballina Touch Association will be held on Tuesday 28 April 2026, 6.30pm at the clubhouse, Saunders Oval, Canal Road, Ballina. Nominations for election to the following positions are sought and must be received no later than Tuesday 14 April 2026 by e-mailing to [email protected] and [email protected] . Nominees for these positions must be current financial members of the club and any nomination must be endorsed by two other current financial members of the club. The positions to be elected are:
