Touch football for all ages The first formalised Touch Football competition was South Sydney Touch Association in 1968 and it continued to grow.

The New South Wales Touch Association was constituted in 1972 and at that point there were six competitions and approximately 1500 players. In 1996, the Ballina Touch Association was established and is part of the Northern Eagles Region of NSW. Over time Ballina Touch Association has been an important part of our local community with over 1300 participants playing in our local competition. Ballina

Touch Association has been fortunate to produce some Region, State and National representative players in its time and have also had representation in the coaching ranks. The Club is in a stronger position and will continue to grow and build a positive culture within the community and look to build so that we have stability and strength in the future years.

🏉 Expression of Interest – Summer Skills & Rep Season Preparation

We are calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) for a specialised 4-week skills program designed to help players fine-tune their skills and prepare for the upcoming Summer Competition and Representative season.

The program is open to players aged 10–18 years and will focus on developing individual skills, game awareness, confidence and overall performance.

This is a great opportunity for players to sharpen their skills, build confidence and prepare for the season ahead.

EARLY BIRD PRIZE FOR FULL TEAM AND PLAYER REGISTRATION – NEW UNIFORMS

Does your team need new uniforms for the coming season?

All teams that have registered into their respective competition (seniors and juniors), and have the minimum number of players registered i.e. 10 players for senior division teams and 8 players for junior division teams, by Sunday 6 September 2026 will go into the draw for a $500 voucher towards new uniforms for their team.

So get your team and players organised and you could be sporting new uniforms for the coming season!

Whether you're a grassroots coach, a parent wanting to better understand the game, or a volunteer looking to build your confidence on the sidelines, this course is a fantastic opportunity to develop your knowledge while gaining your first coaching accreditation.
