The Vixens have signed Silver Fern Mila Reuelu-Buchanan for 2027. A former Northern Stars captain, Mila helped New Zealand claim Commonwealth Games gold this year.

Welcome to the Den, Amelia Walmsley!

Just 22, and already a Commonwealth Games gold medallist.

The Vixens have signed Silver Ferns shooter Amelia Walmsley for 2027, one of New Zealand netball’s brightest young talents. Since her 2023 debut, Amelia has earned 18 caps for New Zealand, captained the Silver Ferns at the 2025 World Youth Cup, and helped claim gold at this year’s Commonwealth Games.

Kate Eddy will depart the Vixens following the conclusion of the 2026 season.
 
Kate has been an important part of our defensive end since 2020. A two-time premiership player, she made 101 appearances for this club across seven seasons and was awarded the Player’s Player Award at this year’s Sharelle McMahon Medal.
 
Netball Victoria CEO Andrea Pearman said the club would have loved to keep Kate at the Vixens.
 
“We would have loved to have kept Kate Eddy playing for the Melbourne Vixens and are disappointed this isn’t the case. She has our deep gratitude for her contribution to this team, and we are excited to support her in an off-court role at Netball Victoria while she continues to pursue her playing career.”

Welcome to the Den, Ash Ervin!
 
The Vixens have signed defender Ashleigh Ervin ahead of the 2027 Super Netball season.
 
Standing at 192cm, Ash brings height, reach and a strong rebounding ability to the defensive end. A recent Australian Diamonds debutant, she joins the Vixens after four seasons with the Sunshine Coast Lightning.
