Meet Tate.
Let’s start with the not-so-good.
For a period of his life, Tate was caught up in the alcohol, drugs and party lifestyle.
After a big night ended with him crashing his car and losing his licence, he was faced with the consequences of the decisions he’d been making.
Instead of making excuses, Tate took responsibility.
He accepted where his choices had led him, made some big changes and started making it work.
Fast forward to today and Tate is 15 months sober — no alcohol, no drugs.
And the trajectory of his life looks very different.
He’s gotten married.
Become a dad.
He and his family are in the process of buying their first home.
He’s also consistently showing up at the gym and putting the work in.
Starting at 110kg, Tate is now down nearly 10kg, getting stronger, feeling good and continuing to improve week after week.
But the biggest change isn’t the number on the scales.
It’s taking ownership of his life and becoming the father, husband and person he wants to be.
We can’t wait to see what Tate can achieve over the coming years.
Thanks for letting us in and allowing us to share your story — the good and the bad.
Stories like Tate’s are worth sharing because you never know who might be reading it and thinking it’s time to make a change themselves.
