We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Creswick Cougars Soccer Club player Tady Callahan. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Callahan family, Creswick Soccer Club and the wider community.

Tady embodied the values of our community, and as a community we consider ourselves so lucky to have shared this time with him. We encourage all members to show support if they can for tomorrow's memorial match, with Reserve's to kickoff at 6:15PM and the Senior Men to kickoff at 8:15PM.

The Creswick Soccer Club is deeply saddened to notify our community of the passing of current Senior Player and lifelong club member, Tady Callahan, on Friday.
At just 28 years young, Tady was taken from us far too soon. He was a truly infectious soul—the kind of person who lit up every room he walked into and left a lasting, massive impact on absolutely everyone he met.
Tady loved soccer and was a passionate member of our football club, spending the vast majority of his playing years right here. His journey with Creswick began all the way back in his junior days when he was just 5 years old. Tady’s bubbly personality, constant jokes, and bright spirit will be so deeply missed by his teammates, coaches, and friends.
The Creswick Soccer Club sends our most sincere condolences to the Callahan family—his parents, Julie and John, and his brothers Dace and Tiger (our current club player). Our hearts are with you all during this incredibly difficult time.

• Memorial Match: This Friday, we will be hosting a special memorial match to honour Tady and his incredible contributions to the club. We invite all club members, supporters, and the wider community to come down, stand together, and support the Callahan family.
Details of a service will be posted at a later date for any club members who want to pay their respects.

COUNTRY CHAMPS WRAP UP 🏆🏆

A huge congratulations to our teams who competed over the weekend.
A massive congratulations to our U15 reigning champs who have come home victorious;
Our U16s coming close as runners up as well.
We had a number of teams make it through to finals and battle it out on the Monday after a tough weekend full of games!!

To all players, coaches, parents and supporters who travelled down and took part in a successful and competitive weekend.
