Further funding opportunity available for our local athletes.

📣 Funding Available for Young Athletes, Coaches & Officials!

Heading to a state, national or international championship this year? The Australian Sports Commission's Local Sporting Champions program could help cover the costs of participation. Eligible competitors, coaches and officials aged 13–18 can apply for grants of $500–$750 to support their sporting journey.

✅ Base grant: $500
✅ Additional support for long-distance travel
✅ Extra funding for participants from rural electorates

🗓️ Applications are now open and close on 31 August 2026. Eligible competitions must be held between 1 April 2026 and 30 November 2026.
