Bobcats Hockey Club Bobcats Hockey Club is a sports club located in Ballarat. We field teams in the senior womens, senior mens and junior sections of the local competition.

Bobcats Hockey Club is a family-oriented, inclusive sports club. We aim to provide opportunities to play hockey for everyone - no matter your skill level, age, gender, physical ability or ethnicity, we can help you to get out on the pitch and have some fun!

Hello everyone,
The season may be over, but the Hockey never stops!

Every year Geelong hold a Regional Hockey Academy. This academy is an amazing opportunity for kids born between 2009 - 2014 who know the basics and have some experience to learn and further develop their skills with some amazing coaches - Some who have played for Hockey Melbourne.

This program will take place in Geelong on Sunday 9/11, Sunday 16/11 and Sunday 23/11 from 9am - 12pm. The program is $240.

Calling all past and present players - please join us in celebrating a very special presentation night - 10 years of Bobcats!

The Bobcats presentation evening is rapidly approaching (tomorrow night).

This is your chance to celebrate the achievements of our amazing players and coaches, and to enjoy a night of fun and entertainment.

📍 Where: Midlands Golf Course, 330 Heinz Ln, Invermay Park
📅 When: Saturday 13th September commencing at 5:30pm
🍕 Food: There will be food provided - Please text any dietary requirements to Shannon - 0413236053
🥃 Drinks: Are available at bar prices. 1 soft drink per person included in ticket sales
🎟 Tickets: can be purchased on the website - Bobcats Hockey Club Online Store
Tickets are $25 per person or $80 for 2 adults and 2+ children
👉 Please note: Tickets purchased on the night will be $30 per person or $90 for a family
🎤 Entertainment: We will have Jake Bridges performing from 8pm - 11pm

A massive thank you to Lily, Anton & Ethan for putting their hands up as volunteer coaches for the HI2H kids! They're doing fabulous work coaching the next generation of Hockey kids.

Can you spot these 3 cheeky monkeys from 2021 when they were the same age as some of the kids they are coaching now?

It's so special to watch how far all of our Bobcats have grown in their sportsmanship, skill & friendships. Out of the 18 kids in the 2nd photo, 15 of them still play for Bobcats (Including Tyson 😄) Now isn't that wonderful ❤️🏑

Hello Bobcats Legends!

Bobcats HC had a great 2024, but now it all starts again, and it starts with you - we need to know what your plans are this year so we can make sure we enter enough teams to give everyone who wants to, the chance to play. If you would like to play for Bobcats in 2025, we need you to do three things, please:

1) Fill out this form to give us an indication of your plans around hockey this year. If a family, please complete a separate form for each member.

3) Purchase your 2025 Bobcats membership through the club website. Early bird discount applies until 31 March. Enter "EARLYBIRD2025" as your discount code at the checkout for 10% off your fee's.

Hi everyone,

the City of Ballarat Council endorsed the public exhibition of the 'Draft POWP Master Plan' and the 'Draft Recreation Infrastructure Plan 2024-2039'. In both plans, the demand for additional hockey fields has been recognised, with the recommendation that a second pitch and pavilion be designed and constructed by 2026/2027 (with a third to come). It also includes upgrading the amenities at our existing field, including additional change facilities. This is fantastic news for our community and is a result of months of consultation with Council officers, hard work from our Facilities Working Group, and feedback from clubs. The public consultation phase is now open via MySay, and further information will be released shortly about how you can help show your support for the plans. Below is a copy of the concept plan from the POWP Draft Master Plan, showing where our additional fields will go.

This will take approx. 10 minutes of your time. I would encourage everyone to have a say. The more positive feedback about the planning - the better the outcome for Hockey!
