It’s been a good week of weather! So…. We are back to the main course (pending tonight’s weather, but let’s be optimistic)

Good Morning Friends,

While the water has started to recede the course is not in a fit state for us to go back to our full track this week. Therefore, we are alternate again this week. Don't be dismayed though, come along and support our Junior Vollabies who are taking over volunteering this week.

Hoping to be back to full course next week.

Well done to everyone who came out this morning to run/walk or volunteer. A great turnout for the second last parkrun of winter!

The rain has continued and the creek is still quite high so our full track is still closed unfortunately. However, the good news is that City of Ballarat have been working with us to get us up and running again and have closed the track closer to the flooded section. They have placed some "footpath closed ahead" signs along the path to warn regular users, but this still allows us to run our alternative course.

So, we are going ahead this weekend! If you are planning on visiting, please note that our alternative does not include our tunnel, so if you were hoping to belt out some tunes in the there, you might need to wait until next time.

Unfortunately part of our track remains closed and we will have to cancel our event tomorrow. The track closure includes part of the alternative as well and so we are unable to use either.

We will continue to work with council on solutions for when/if this happens again.
