We got the job done against Hoppers Crossing in the Preliminary Final who took the challenge till the very end, we were in early trouble after the second pair came out on 46 at the half way mark. A great 3 overs from Tyson Rose, Sam Kuchel and Jarrod Berrigan kept the 3rd pair to 0 till John Platt finished the pair off with a 4/-10 over which left Hoppers Crossing to much to chase getting us over the line.
The Grand Final we were just completely out played by a strong North Geelong Supercats team, with them scoring 114 we knew we had our work cut out for us. Which ultimately turned out to be to much to chase for us, even with the efforts of Tyson Rose, Josh Smith and Cameron Werts all scoring well with the bat. But congratulations to North Geelong Supercats on another R-League championship, they are definitely setting the benchmark of Indoor Cricket on this side of Victoria.
With that being said, we can't thank our players enough for making the effort to travel, families to give up time with one another and thanks to our supporters who are always asking about how were going week in week out. It's a tough gig to commit to travel to games when our closest game is over an hour away every round, but we made it happen!
