A huge congratulations to our Women’s player Natalie Grero on her selection in the Over 40s Victorian squad to represent Victoria in Tasmania this November!
This is a fantastic achievement and recognition of the hard work and commitment Natalie continues to put into her cricket.

🏏 2nd XI Captain | 2026/27
We’re pleased to announce that Max Burton will once again take the reins as captain of our 2nd XI for the 2026/27 season.
We look forward to seeing the 2nd XI squad continue their improvement under Max’s leadership as they strive to go one better this season.
With a strong group and plenty of talent coming through, we’re excited to see what the 2nd XI can achieve.

🏏 1st XI Co-Captains | 2026/27
We’re pleased to announce Jack McGregor and Heath Doherty as our 1st XI co-captains for the 2026/27 season.
Jack has been a long-standing and highly respected member of our 1st XI squad, consistently setting the example for his teammates both on and off the field. His experience, commitment and leadership will be invaluable as we look to take the next step.
Heath returns to Ballan in a leadership role after the past four years at Essendon Cricket Club, where he has continued to develop his game and leadership credentials. He’s excited to bring that experience and knowledge back to the Ballan squad.
It’s shaping up to be a big year for the 1st XI as we chase redemption and set our sights firmly on promotion back into Division 1.

🌭 Ballan Cricket Club Bunnings BBQ Fundraiser 🌭
The countdown to the 2026/27 summer of cricket is on, and we're kicking things off with our first major fundraiser of the season!
To make this event a success, we're calling on our amazing Ballan Cricket Club community to lend a hand. Whether you're a player, parent, supporter or past member, we'd love your help.
📅 When: Sunday, 16 August�📍 Where: Melton East Bunnings�Corner Keilor Melton Road & High Street, Melton VIC 3337�🕗 Time: 8:00am – 4:00pm
We'll be running 2-hour shifts, with 4 volunteers needed for each shift.

The Ballarat Cricket Association is seeking feedback from past and present junior girls players to help shape the future of girls' cricket across the competition.

This is a great opportunity to have your voice heard and provide valuable input into how junior girls cricket is managed, developed, and delivered in the years ahead.

Whether you've played one season or several, your experiences and ideas can help create an even better pathway for the next generation of female cricketers.
