The Onkaparinga Valley Football Club was formed from the amalgamation of the Hills Football League in 1967. The Onkaparinga Football Club joined with the woodside Football Club to form the present Onkaparinga Valley Football Club and made their home at Balhannah oval. Woodside oval has remained a training ground for many junior teams. The red, white and blue tri-colours of Woodside were the c

hosen colours with the Bulldog becoming the adopted symbol of the Club. In 1977 the Club became the only Club in the Hills Football League to own their headquarters. The change rooms and lounge area was built by a very hard working team lead by President David Paschke and his Committee, the now disbanded “Bulldogs Club” and a building committee of local builders that love football and the OVFC in 1978. The combined Club won their first Premiership by defeating Heathfield Aldgate (and ending their hope of leaving the HFL as having won the last 10 premiership in a row. The Club has a very strong Junior structure and fields six under age teams from Under 8’s, Under 10’s, Under 12’s plus Junior and Senior colts. The Senior structure has 3 teams being A1’s, A2’s and C grade. From about mid March the Club kitchen and dining area room is open for evening meals on Thursday nights during the football season. The meals are cooked and prepared by Senior Club members lead by Mark Green and the happy group you would wish to meet. The meals are of a very high standard and low priced so please call in and say hello to the boys and have a laugh with them. In the year 2007 major up grade work was carried out in the lounge area, making the Club one of the best if not the best in the Adelaide Hills district.

What a weekend for the Bulldogs!

💪 The Under 16s got the job done in style with Ollie Crichton kicking a goal after the siren to seal the win!

💪 After a year sidelined with injury, it was fantastic to see Cooper Grivell back out there with the Under 18s.

Big day for Polly Harvey as she makes her Senior Women’s debut today 🔴⚪🔵

Coming through the club’s Under 14s program, spending the off-season with Norwood FC and absolutely living and breathing footy, Polly has worked hard to earn her opportunity at senior level.

With her skill, determination and footy smarts, we can’t wait to see her bring her own style to Senior Women’s footy.

She will be expecting some good service in the forward line to get on the board.
