πŸ₯…βš½πŸ₯… - U12 Divisions announced with 2 of our Teams being placed into Division 1, 1 x Team into Division 3 and 1 x Team into Division 5.

-> Congratulations to all 4 of our U12 Mixed Teams (pictured) who have spent the first 9 Rounds of the Season competing for spots in a complex grading process to sort out the various U12 divisions. Football South Coast has just announced the U12 Competition structure for the remainder of the Season, and we have had U12 Black and U12 Red be placed in Division 1, U12.3 in Division 3 and U12.4 placed in Division 5.

-> Well done to all of our U12 Teams, Coaches, Players and Parents as the Team Grading process has played out.

-> Standby for a 2nd separate post which will showcase our 2 x U12 Girls Teams. With the talent and strength across our 6 x U12 Teams in 2026, we are looking good in U13's for 2027 and beyond as this age group progresses through.

πŸ₯…βš½πŸ₯… - Balgownie U13.2 featured here had a big weekend, with a double header. On Saturday they played Berkeley away in a tough 3-3 draw, then backed up on the long weekend Monday and played in a top of the table clash with Coniston at Judy Masters, which ended 0-0.

-> Well done to Coaches Chris De Santis and Mick Perre, who have the team working hard, playing well, and sitting near the top of the table with 5 wins and 4 draws after Round 9.

-> Well done and thank you also to our U13.3 Coaches Paul Boulton, Kevin North and Manager Samantha Malcom, and U14.3 Coach Justin Perrett and Manager Eleni Perret.

-> The U16's fixture has been moved from a washed out Judy Masters to IMP, and the U13's has been moved from the Central Coast which has also washed out to much closer to home at IMP.

πŸ‘‰ U16 Balgownie v Concord, Football NSW - State Cup fixture on Sunday afternoon. Kick off at 1:45pm.

πŸ‘‰ U13 Balgownie v Umina, Football NSW - State Cup fixture: Sunday afternoon. Kick off at 5:15pm.

πŸ₯…βš½πŸ₯…Balgownie U10 Red (Advanced) v Balgownie U10 Black (Advanced).

-> Congratulations to both our U10 Red and U10 Black Team's who had a great in house local derby on Saturday at Judy Masters - Ground 5.

-> Great technical skill, flair and determination was shown by both sides, but the best bit was at the end when both Teams happily shook hands and gathered for a Group U10 photo. The future is bright at BJFC, with high quality play at U10's level being shown, combined with good camaraderie, team and Club spirit.

-> Well done to U10 Red Coaches Ben Christiansen and Jeff North and U10 Black Coaches Jacob Miller and Andrew Perre for developing the players both on and off the pitch.

-> A big Thanks to Oak Flats Junior Soccer Club for organising the 'She Plays Gala Day' as part of Female Football Week. Our U11 Red Girls Team signed up and Coach Massimo Ioppolo and Manager Al Maccarone report that the Team had fun, won 1, drew 1 and lost 2. Great job U11 Red Girls!

-> U9 Girls Aqua: Coach Rob Connolly and Manager Heidi Everson report that the Girls have had a great start to year. 1 draw and 4 wins. The picture of the Team is after a close 1-0 win against Fernhill on Saturday.

-> U11 Orange showed the power of Mothers Day, by lifting for their Mum's and Grandmas to secure their first victory of the 2026 Season, and the Team captured the moment with a Mum's, Grandma's and Son's photo - which has been submitted by Manager Megan Melfi.

-> We are very lucky to have 100's and 100's of Volunteer Coaches and Managers, Canteen Crew, Match Day Crew, Line Marking Crew, Uniform Shop Crew and Committee Members who have been collectively recognised.

-> If you are regularly at Judy Masters and have time and capacity to Volunteer and make a contribution on Matchdays or during the week, please reach out and express your interest via the Contact Us form on our website: https://www.balgowniejuniors.com.au/contact-us

πŸ‘‰ Congratulations also to our U10 Girls Yellow Team who you can see were all smiles on Saturday. Many of the girls have played for a number of years, turning up to each game and giving it their all. On Saturday they all found a little bit more effort, and it paid of with the Teams first ever win!! πŸ‘ˆ
