Did you know:

🫶 Sand Improves Drainage
Sand helps water move more quickly through the soil. This reduces puddling and prevents the turf from becoming soft and muddy after rain.

⛳️Sand Smooths the Surface
Topdressing fills in small depressions and helps level uneven areas, producing a smoother fairway and more consistent lies.

🦗Dilutes Thatch and Organic Matter
Over time, grass produces a layer of dead stems and roots called thatch. Too much thatch can hold excess moisture and lead to disease. Sand mixes with this organic material and helps break it down.

⏳Encourages Stronger Root Growth
Because sand improves air and water movement in the soil, roots can grow deeper and become healthier and more resilient.

🌦️Supports Recovery After Aeration
When fairways are aerated, small holes are punched into the turf. Sand is brushed into these holes to keep them open and improve soil structure.

PLEASE REMEMBER YOUR SAND BUCKET.

And just a friendly reminder—there are no prizes for bringing it back full! Please use your sand to fill divots as you go and help keep the course in great condition for everyone.
