Self Protection, Awareness, Mindset Training, Groundedness for Men.

Learn to protect yourself and your loved ones, become more grounded and strong in yourself, discharge aggression in a controlled environment that will also challenge you.

Develop more confidence in yourself that you will project out into the world, making you a harder target as anyone who is looking for a ‘victim’ will prioritize somebody who presents as a ‘victim’ who is also unaware.

What will you learn? -

*The importance of awareness and avoidance.
* Simple physical tools that are more easily remembered and accessed during a stressful situation.
*How to build the correct mindset to deal with a situation.
*The importance of dealing with *pressure* while staying grounded.

Currently looking for good, consistent training partners, will still be a cost as i'll be teaching but the difference is I will also be training in the class for my own training as opposed to only standing back and teaching. Because of that the cost will be less than the usual class.

Will start at the basics and build from there, so you don't have to be experienced, just be willing and consistent over the long term. Also it's good for you to have some physical ability and consistency in fitness or similar as opposed to starting completely from zero.
Thursday afternoons are good for me, or possibly a tuesday night if afternoons don't work.

Develop more confidence in yourself that you will project out into the world, making you a harder target as people with bad intent will prioritize somebody who presents as a ‘victim’ who is also unaware.

*Learn the importance of awareness and avoidance as that is where the core of self protection is, since there is simply too many potential issues getting into a physical confrontation if you can at all avoid it.
*Learn simple physical tools that are more easily remembered and accessed during a stressful situation.
*Learn the importance of dealing with *pressure* and build up your tolerance to handle this over time while staying grounded.
*Martial type training is an awesome way to access and feel the Masculine in your body in a way that feels good and is controlled, which is something we are all missing in society.
*Discharge stress and aggression in a positive and constructive way.

Will this make me a fighter? - No, that's not the intention, nor is competing and such my area of experience. My intention is to give you basic self protection skills, awareness and mindset if you are unable to commit to something like mma training 3/4/5 days a week for example.

Do I need to be fit? - Not necessarily, but you do need to be somewhat physically able since this kind of training is inherently physical. The aim is to challenge yourself to a certain extent but to also know your limits and built them over time. Don't let the excuse of being unfit stop you, come along and learn!

Proposed Time – Tuesday or Wednesday nights starting at 6pm. Around 60-90 minutes a session.

Cost - $20 a person (with first session free).

Currently an expression of interest, but we only need a couple of people to start.

Location - To be announced.

What to bring - Towel, water, comfortable workout clothes.
