Happy National Volunteer Week to the Bairnsdale Boxing Club crew! 🥊❤️

As a 100% volunteer-run club, we wouldn’t be here without the people who show up, put in the work, and make this place what it is.

A massive thank you to our coaches for the time and heart you pour into every session. To our committee for keeping things running behind the scenes. To our participants and parents who pitch in with everything from coaching support to cleaning up after training, we all do our part to keep the space clean and welcoming.

Because of you, the club is more than just a place to train, it’s where people work out, build confidence, and make lifelong friendships.

Thanks for doing your bit. We couldn’t do it without you.

Happy Easter Everyone 🐣
Just a quick update to let you know that our Kids & Monday night teen classes will be taking a break over the Easter holidays.

Classes will return on
🥋Friday 24th April for kids BJJ 4pm (wait list still applies)
🤼‍♀️Monday 4.30pm 20th April for kids Striking and Grappling
🥊Monday 5pm 20th April teen boxing

We hope everyone enjoys a well-earned break and we look forward to seeing all the kids back on the mats soon!
Thanks to our wonderful volunteer coaches we hope you also enjoy a very well deserved break.

📣 *Kids Friday BJJ – Now at Capacity* 🚨

Our Kids Friday BJJ class has hit capacity. We’re grateful for the growth, but as a not-for-profit, volunteer-run club, safety and quality come first. Capping numbers lets us keep coach-to-student ratios strong, give individual attention, and maintain a safe, structured environment for our students and volunteer coaches.

*Important reminders*
- A parent or guardian *must stay in attendance* during the class.
- Kids are to use *only BJJ equipment*—NO OTHER GYM EQUIPMENT, this includes siblings of participants.

We’re now operating a wait-list. To join, email: [email protected]
Subject: Kids BJJ Waiting List – [Child’s Name]
Include: child’s full name, DOB, parent/guardian name, and contact number.

Emails are time-stamped and processed in order. You’ll have 48 hours to respond when a spot opens.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update — unfortunately both kids BJJ classes tonight are cancelled as both coaches are sick and have kids home from school sick.

A friendly reminder that staying off the mats when you’re unwell is part of good BJJ etiquette and helps keep everyone in the team healthy.

Thanks for understanding, and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone back on the mats next week.

Merry Christmas🎄everyone! We're so grateful for another amazing year at the club! 🙌 Huge thanks to our incredible coaches for volunteering their time, passion, and skills, the volunteers and to the committee for all of the work behind the scenes - you all make a difference it's not just about fitness - the club is a great way to de-stress, have a laugh, and make heaps of friends 😊. And what a way to end the year with a Water fight epic way to wrap it up 💦🎈🔫. Also, shoutout to Rita The Dough Shack and Gabby for the delicious desserts and Earth & Soul Pizza for the tasty pizzas 🍕👌
