🍕🏐 TERM 1 / 2023 Break -Up 🏐🍕

Another very succesfull Term of our Junior Mixed Program was celebrated with a Pizza Party and Fun game between our 11/Under squad V our 9/Under squad and their parents.

This term saw our 9/Unders develope their skills enough to confidently play a game of netball, supporting each other, and showing a great understanding of the basic rules.

We are so proud of their progress. each and every one of them are brilliant little sports people !!

We have assembled a very strong group of 11/Under players for our representative team who have been training really hard each week, getting ready to compete once Thursday Junior comps recommence at B.N.A. in term 2.

Thank You Bairnsdale Trophy Centre for supplying our kids awards, Paynesville Catering for the Fruit and Lollies each week, and Three double8zero for the Pizza's - they were delicious !!

I could'nt run this program without the help of Ashleigh Holland - Ash you're amazing !! your dedication each week with educating the kids and fostering in them a love of netball is just fantastic.

We all love you very much 💙

And of course our families, you are all such wonderful supporters of junior netball and it is such a pleasure being able to host you and your little darlings each week.
.. the game was a Draw !! Well Done every one.

Due to the wet weather in Paynesville we have rescheduled our Term 1 Break-Up celebration to next week:

*** New Date - Wednesday April 5th ***

So far this date suits families, we apologise if the new date is inconvenient for anyone.

If that is the case, we will present your child their medallions and certificates first week back Term 2.

Hey netballers! The acrylic surfacing of your new courts at WORLD Sporting Precinct is under way and should be finished this week.

We're getting closer to the opening of this revamped facility that will provide great opportunities to participate in physical activity and sport and attract events to our region.

When complete, this regional-standard facility will provide:
- a new netball complex.
- hockey pitches with lighting, including a grass and synthetic pitch
- new soccer pitches with lighting including one synthetic
- access roads, paths, car parking and landscaping
- two pavilions to service multiple clubs across the sporting codes

The project has attracted significant investment, with the Australian Government and the Victorian State Government collectively providing over $10.5 million in grant funding, and the Victorian Government providing a further $5 million through a low-interest loan scheme.
