𝐕𝐎𝐋𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐄𝐑 𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐃𝐄𝐃 – 𝐓𝐄𝐂𝐇𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋 𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒
As we get ready for the start of our 2026/27 Track & Field Season, we are looking for a volunteer to take on the role of Technical Requirements Officer.
The main responsibility of this role is marking our grass athletics track each week, along with assisting with other technical requirements around the track and field area.
𝑵𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝒂 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝒃𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆? 𝑵𝒐 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒃𝒍𝒆𝒎!
Our previous volunteer will provide a full handover and ongoing support will be available to help you settle into the role.
This is an important behind the scenes role that helps ensure our athletes have a properly marked and competition areas ready each week.

We’re excited to announce that this season BMLAC will be introducing a few new merchandise items for our members.

𝑰𝑵𝑻𝑹𝑶𝑫𝑼𝑪𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑶𝑼𝑹 𝑪𝑳𝑼𝑩 𝑨𝑻𝑯𝑳𝑬𝑻𝑬 𝑻𝑶𝑷𝑺 (𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒆𝒔, 𝑩𝒐𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒔, 𝑫𝒐𝒍𝒑𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒔, 𝑬𝒂𝒈𝒍𝒆𝒔)
We are finally updating our Club polos to a modern new look design.
The new tops are almost finalised and as soon as we receive our samples, we’ll be excited to share the design with everyone.
To make the transition easier, there will be a 2 season transition period. This means athletes will still be permitted to wear their existing Club polos during this time.

The 2026/27 Little Athletics season kicks off on Saturday 3rd October at Masons Lane Reserve, Bacchus Marsh and we’ve got some exciting things planned at BMLAC.

Congratulations to former BMLAC Eagles member Sarah Burton on being crowned the Greater Western Victoria Rebels Best & Fairest winner.
This is an amazing achievement, made even more impressive by the fact that Sarah is a bottom age player.
Sarah’s incredible talent extends beyond football too, with her also being a member of the Victorian Cricket Emerging Squad.

The 2026/27 BMLAC Track & Field season calendar has now been finalised.
This season, we’re trialling a new 6-week program rotation during the first half of the season.
Once athletes have completed a full rotation, we’ll be seeking feedback from our members to help us evaluate the programs.
