BMLAC congratulates BMLAC Dolphins member, Myah Estlick on her selection into the Athletics Victoria Futures Academy Program.
This development program identifies and supports Victoriaโs promising young athletes aged 15โ19 who have demonstrated national level potential. The program focuses on developing high-performance sport literacy, building strong performance habits and behaviours and educating athletes on long term athletic development. Participants also benefit from face-to-face activations, event-specific skill development with Victorian event mentors and athlete education sessions.
We would also like to extend our congratulations to former BMLAC captain, Mackenzie Estlick on her selection into the Australian Athletics Pathway Transition Program for Relays.
This national program supports athletes who have demonstrated the potential to achieve Athletics Australiaโs high-performance goals. Athletes receive access to performance support services, sports science and medicine, wellbeing programs, national camps, planning assistance and a range of development opportunities. The program aims to bridge the gap between successful junior performances and future senior international success, with a focus on Under 20 athletes.
These selections are a wonderful recognition of the hard work, dedication and commitment both athletes have shown throughout their athletics journeys.
Congratulations Myah and Mackenzie. We wish you both every success as you continue to develop and pursue your athletic goals.
