Tell you what, Babinda can fish. We get thrown a cyclone and projections of 30 knots and all it takes is a few good fishable hours and have a look at the quality of fish weighed in.

First weigh in weekend with an almost cyclone and we still got a massive crowd down to the weigh in!

Congrats Tammy on a beautiful mangrove jack, braving the rain and wind worked out as she took home a beautiful rod for fish of the month! The rod was kindly donated by Nitro Mowing.

Three other lucky members also won fantastic shimano and diawa rods also donated by Nitro Mowing with a value of over $500.

Congrats also to Grant Rowe taking out one of the best looking meat trays ever put together by Cairns Bulk Meats.

It was a fantastic afternoon and we can't wait to see you all for our next fishing weekend starting on the 10th of April with weigh in on the 12th 😀
