Earth & Sky Yoga Studio A warm and welcoming boutique yoga studio located in Avoca Beach. She also offers classes online.

Cassandra the principal teacher has been teaching since 2003 and offers private classes, corporate yoga and regular local and international yoga retreats. I named my yoga studio Earth and Sky to reflect the grand archetypes of existence; masculine/feminine, expansion/contraction, sun/moon. The qualities of earth and sky encompass the whole of existence, they do not exist in isolation but are compl

ementary and dance in harmony with each other. We recognise our alignment with the rhythms and cycles of nature and remember to keep our feet placed firmly on the steady and supportive earth as we reach for the unlimited possibilities of sky. My vision is to provide an online space for practice that is welcoming and safe and offers a high level of teaching.

Spring is a season of movement, renewal and letting go.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, spring is associated with the Liver and Gallbladder meridians — pathways connected with flow, flexibility, vision and the ability to move forward.

This Sunday, we’ll slow everything down and create space for that seasonal shift.

Explore the depths in the basics ✨

This week in my hatha classes we’re returning to the foundations.

We’ll take a seemingly “basic” pose like Trikonasana (Triangle Pose) and slow things down, exploring the component parts that create a steady, strong and spacious asana. Expect some great work in the inner thighs, gluts and hamstrings.

There is so much depth to be found in the basics. When we take the time to pay attention, refine and explore, familiar poses can reveal something entirely new.

Sometimes, going deeper doesn’t mean doing more — it means becoming more present with what is already there. 🙏
