Global Running Day is a complex one for me.
âRunning has simultaneously given me life and almost taken it away from me. Itâs a paradox I live with daily. We often donât realise what a gift movement is until that blessing is threatened or taken from us.
âIâve learned that running can be a heavy weightâfilled with the âwants,â âneeds,â and âshouldsâ that we place on ourselves. Yet, it also remains the purest source of mindful joy in my life. I see that same joy reflected in the faces of the people I coachâacross every age and ability.
âThank you, Running.
For being my constant.
For the highs and the lows, the pleasure and the pain.
And especially for the moment I was told I may never run againâthat was the spark that forced me to prove to the world, and to myself, that movement isn't just something I do; it is part of who I am.
âHereâs to never letting that flame go out. đđœââïž âš
Iâm so grateful to still be out here, both for my own journey and for the privilege of sharing that love and knowledge with others.
âWhat does running mean to you? Letâs celebrate the gift of movement today đ
