Comprising of over 1200 players and 90+ teams, the Avalon Soccer Club provides enjoyment and competit Our home ground is situated at Careel Bay in North Avalon.

Avalon Soccer Club is an amateur club situated at the northern end of Sydney's Northern Beaches. As a club we pride ourselves on our friendly, family club environment. The club is comprised of around a thousand players aged from 5 to 70, who enjoy playing the beautiful game at a variety of levels and is entirely run by a group of highly dedicated volunteers. We strive to provide the best possible

playing and coaching environment that we can with the resources to our disposal. We put a great emphasis on player development and coach education at all skill levels in our club and employ two professional coaches as our Directors of Coaching. The site of a former rubbish tip was converted to provide us with two full size fields and a large dedicated mini-field area to cater for the variety of small sided versions of the game played by our younger players. We are also lucky to have our own clubhouse with a great canteen that serves the "best coffee to be found at a football ground anywhere"!!! We are one of 17 clubs playing in games and competitions organised by the Manly Warringah Football Association.

Huge congratulations to Gabby Dent and Lily Faithfull, both nominated for WAL1 (Women’s Amateur League 1) Player of the Year by the MWFA ♥️

Plus an extra special congratulations to Lily, who WON the award for 2026! A fantastic individual achievement and a proud moment for the whole squad and AVSC.

We’re clearly doing something right, Avalon! Well done to you both.

Happy Father’s Day ♥️⚽️

To all the legend dads in our club and across our community - today is for you.

The early starts. The weekend sidelines. The lifts to training. The encouragement after a tough game. The celebrations after a great one. And all those little moments in between that make being part of a club so special.

Thank you for showing up, backing our kids and being part of the Avalon Soccer Club family.

We’re proud to be a sponsor and partner of the Avalon Public School Fete as they celebrate 75 years of Avalon Public School.

It’s shaping up to be a brilliant day of good old-fashioned fete fun, so bring the family, round up your friends and come along for the celebrations.

There’s plenty happening on the day, including live music from The Baker Boys Band, laser tag, a kindifarm petting zoo, face painting, artisan market stalls, food trucks, BBQs, coffee carts, crafting, a photo booth, games alley, haunted classroom, The Hospital (IYKYK), soccer darts, jumping castles, a local fire truck, tombolas, a white elephant stall, silent disco, chocolate wheel, 360 video booth and silent auction.

And if that’s not enough, there’s more classic fete fun to be had!

WINNERS !! 🏆

Huge Congratulations to our W16/2’s who won their Grand Final today in a nail biting 4-3 penalty shootout against Seaforth. Brilliant result!

To our incredible W15/3’s who came runners up against Brookvale in a super tight 1-0 match. So incredibly close - you should be so proud girls!

Our W/13/2’s were also recognised today by the MWFA for taking out league champs, even though they got knocked out in a penalty shoot-out by Curl Curl in last week’s semi. Awesome achievement!

🏆 U12 Champions 🏆

A nail-biting finish for our U12s, taking out the final 1-0 against CC Strikers in the final minutes of the match!

The winning goal came from James Smith, sealing a brilliant result for the whole squad.

Well done to every player, coach and family who made this season one to remember.

That’s a wrap on Season 2026! ⚽️

Last games for our juniors are this weekend - we hope they are fantastic!

What a season it’s been. For the majority of our players, that’s the final whistle blown on 2026 - and what an incredible year of football it’s been.

From the very first training session back in pre-season to the last matches just gone, this club has been buzzing with energy every single week. New friendships formed, skills sharpened, and so many proud moments on the sideline. Win, lose or draw, our players showed up with heart every time, and that’s what Avalon is all about.

To every player, parent, coach, manager and volunteer who made this season what it was - thank you. This club runs on your energy and commitment, and it does not go unnoticed.
