I think spring has finally arrived here in Australia. I'm definitely noticing the difference.
I’m sure, like me, you’re loving having those extra hours of daylight again.
Although I have to admit, I haven't quite been brave enough to get back into the ocean yet!
But I can feel myself naturally wanting to spend more time outdoors, move a little more and shake off some of the heavy energy that comes with winter.
It turns out, Ayurveda agrees.
Spring is the Kapha season, and it’s completely normal at this time of year if you are feeling a little heavier, slower, or a bit stuck. Which makes sense when you think about it. After months of cooler weather and shorter days, where we tend to eat heavier, comforting meals, and spending more time indoors.
This is why Ayurveda encourages us to make a few simple changes as we transition into this new season.
Not a complete overhaul. Just tiny tweaks that can help us bring more lightness and movement into our days.
