Avalon ladies Golf Club Avalon ladies is a committed group of girls who love the game and enjoy the company and friendship of others! Avalon golf course is a public 9 hole golf course.

Avalon Ladies play 18 hole
competition on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8am. We welcome new members, expecially
beginners. All that is required is a set of clubs, fun spirit and a sense of adventure!

The annual Avalon Ladies vs Palm Beach Associates Competition is happening Wednesday, 23 September — and this year we’re heading to Palm Beach Golf Course.

The Avalon Ladies are getting into the Christmas spirit early, with another podium finish! 🎅⛳️

Huge congratulations to Cathy Thompson, Deb Hallam, Jan Pike and Yolandra Turner (Port Macquarie GC… but we claim her as one of us! 😉) who took out the Christmas in July 4BBB at Windsor with an amazing 101 points!

🎉 Shout-out to Deb Hallam with a fabulous 40 points, finishing 6th individually!

And well played to Christine Gardner, Jan Biggs, Ann Jewitt and Carolyn Morrow on a fantastic 89 points!

Ever had one of those rounds where nothing seems to go your way? The drives wander, the putts refuse to drop, and every bunker feels like it has your name on it.

The beauty of golf is that no matter what happened today, there’s always another tee time, another opportunity, and another chance to play your best golf.

⛳ There is always tomorrow in golf.

Leave today’s frustrations on the course, take the lessons with you, and come back ready to enjoy the game all over again.

Join us at Kooindah Waters Golf Club for a fun day out whether you’re playing golf only, entering the comps, or making it a mini‑getaway with our Stay & Play option which includes a group discount by the Mercure Resort and Kooindah Waters Golf Club.

What a great day for our Presidents vs Captains and individual Stableford competition!

The weather held off as the Presidents (green & white) and Captains (blue & white) enjoyed a fun day of friendly rivalry.

🏆 Individual winner: Deb Hallam with 39 Stableford points, with Jan Biggs second on countback from Wendy Sinnott and Ann Jewitt (37 points).

🏆 Teams: Presidents took the win – 292 to 255. Bring on the rematch in 2027!
