Memorial Day 2026 🤍

Last Wednesday, 52 women came together for Memorial Day, a special day of golf and remembrance as we honour the members who are no longer with us, but who helped make Bunbury Golf Club the club it is today.

Congratulations to our 2026 winners:

🏆 Winner: Jodie Wren – 42 pts
Runner Up: Jane De Paoli – 37 pts

A special thank you to Maureen O’Keefe and Fiona Driver, who have continued their generous support of Memorial Day by donating the prizes in honour of their mother and grandmother, Kay Pickup.

A lovely day of golf, friendship and remembrance, keeping the memories of our past members very much part of our club.

Bunbury Golf Club is looking for a Casual Golf Operations Assistant for 10–20 hours per week, mainly Fridays and Saturdays.

The Marion Johnston Memorial Trophy was held over two Saturdays this year, with the ladies taking on 36 holes of Stableford competition.

Congratulations to our 2026 winners:

🏆 Gross Stableford
Winner: Fiona Driver – 41 points
Runner Up: Cathie Derrington – 36 points

🏆 Nett Stableford
Winner: Zara Bastow – 77 points
Runner Up: Cassie Pedersen – 76 points

The Marion Johnston Memorial Trophy is a special event on our women’s golfing calendar, honouring a much-loved Bunbury Golf Club member who played an important role in introducing Saturday Women’s Golf to the Club.

Marion was also a great supporter of junior girls’ golf and a Life Member, recognised for her tireless contribution to the Club through many years of volunteering.

Her daughters, Cynda and Tracey, continue to honour her memory through their generous sponsorship of this event, and we thank them for their ongoing support.

Congratulations to all the ladies who took part, and to our 2026 winners. 💐

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our Flavours of Asia Feast Night. ❤️

What a great night at The Clubhouse! It was fantastic to see so many members and guests enjoying delicious food, cocktails and great company.

We really appreciate the amazing support for our Midweek Feast Nights. It was another wonderful evening, and we loved seeing the Clubhouse full of good food, laughter and conversation.

And we’re already looking forward to the next one…
