The Atherton Roosters Junior Rugby League Football Club was established on the 1st of January 1984. Starting with one junior team, known as the Roosters, today we consistently field 20 teams from under 7's up to under 16's. We are a family club - fair play is the rule of the day - and we have many kids running around today in the same red, white and blue stripes as their fathers and grandfathers w

ore. We are a very social and family oriented club that encourages players and members to get involved in a rugby league way of life.

As a community club, we rely on the support of our amazing players, parents and volunteers to help game days run smoothly.

Please check the roster and be ready to lend a hand when it’s your team’s turn. Whether it’s helping at the gate or in the canteen, every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated.

Many hands make light work, and together we can ensure another fantastic day of footy for all involved.

As a community club, we rely on our amazing players and families to help make game days run smoothly. This Sunday, each team has been allocated a time to assist with gate keeping and canteen duties.

🏈 HOME GAME THIS SUNDAY - WITH A SPECIAL TOUCH 🏈

This Sunday, our Atherton Roosters take the field at home, but one game means a little bit more ❤️‍🩹💪

Our U15’s will proudly run out in Eacham Panther Jersey’s in support of Eathan Henry and his recovery ahead. Following the game, these jerseys will be auctioned off, with every dollar raised going directly towards supporting Eathan and his family during this challenging time.

Eathan is footy mad, just like the rest of us! And footy has an incredible way of bringing communities together, and this weekend is our chance to show what the rugby league family is all about. ❤️

Come along, cheer on our players, bid on a jersey, and help us make a real difference for a young man and family who need our support ❤️💙

Get ready for a massive day of footy at the AJRL Grounds Saturday, 20th June! 💙❤️

From our U6’s right through to our U14’s, our youngest Roosters will be giving it everything they’ve got. Then stick around as the action continues with the Atherton Roosters Senior Rugby League teams taking on the Tully Tigers Rugby League Football Club from 3PM! 🐓🆚🐯
