With the 2026 season wrapping up, it’s time to get all of our A-Plus Contracting and Poly Welding Griffin's gear back to the sheds so we can start getting organised for 2027! 💚🤎

The sheds will be open:

⏰ 5:30pm

Please return ALL club gear, including:

🔺 Cones
💧 Drink bottles
⛑️ First aid kits
💛 Trainer shirts
💙 First aid shirts

⚠️ This will also be your LAST opportunity to collect any team photos or outstanding raffle prizes for the season.

We need all gear returned, so please have a good check at home, in the car, garage or wherever those stray footies and cones may have ended up! 😂

From kicking the footy in the backyard, driving to training, standing on the sidelines, volunteering around the club and being there through every win and loss — thank you for everything you do.

Our A-Plus Contracting and Poly Welding East Maitland Griffins U14 Div 2 have taken out the 2026 GRAND FINAL, defeating Valentine 18–12! 🏆

These boys have worked incredibly hard all season, backed each other every step of the way and today they got the reward they deserved.

HJRL GRAND FINALS - THIS WEEKEND!

The biggest weekend of the HJRL season is almost here, with Grand Final action kicking off from 9 am this Saturday, 5 September 2026.

Whether you’re at the grounds or watching from home, there are plenty of ways to be part of the action.

HJRL has partnered with BarTV Sports to bring FREE live coverage from Cessnock Sports Ground (Baddeley Park) and Waratah Oval. Login or create your BarTV account here: www.bartv.com.au/rugby-league/

Professional photographers will be at St John Oval, Reliable Conveyor Group Sports Ground (Kurri Kurri Sports Ground), Waratah Oval, Cessnock Sports Ground (Baddeley Park), and Pirtek Park (Singleton) to capture the action throughout the day. We’ll share the photo gallery links as soon as they are available.

We ask everyone attending our Grand Final venues to help make this a positive experience for all by following the NRL Code of Conduct ( www.playrugbyleague.com/laws-of-the-game-community/code-of-conduct ). Please show encouragement and good sportsmanship to all participants, including players and team staff on both teams, other spectators, and match officials - especially the referees!
