📣📣 Client Spotlight - Mick Waeger 📣📣
Mick currently trains 3 mornings a week, at the bright & early time of 5:30am and quite frankly never misses a beat.
After completing a massive goal of his earlier in the year (see Mick’s previous post a few months back), this weapon has continued his momentum and is consistently competing with himself for improvements which I love to see!
A little bit more on Mick…
❓Best memory as a Cronulla Sharks fan?
2016 of course, I actually watched the Grand Final is an Irish Pub in Salzburg called Murphys Law. A massive day, I remember walking back to our hotel singing up up Cronulla in the street of Salzburg, the locals must of thought I was crazy!! It was one of those pubs with the various football team shirts pinned to the wall. The Sharks jersey I was wearing that day is still on the wall in that pub!
❓Favourite way to spend a weekend?
Just tinkering at home or the farm. Nothing in particular to do, no time frame to do it and just by myself not responsible for anyone or to anyone. Which is the total opposite of my working career. Wrap up the day with a relaxing beer or 2. In winter time sit in front of the fire.
❓Who’s your inspiration and why?
My brother Karl, he is 12 years older than me, and is more like a father figure to me. My Dad was 44 when I was born so he was more like my grandfather and Karl my father. He is and always has been very motivated and a why not type of person. He has been very successful in all aspects of his life and someone I have always looked up to.
❓Favourite beverage and why?
Beer and in particular craft beer like Pale Ales, Pacific Ale or IPA. At the moment Stone and Wood is top of the list, followed by Hazy IPA’s. I love the variety that is available and when I travel to different areas I seem to have different ones.
They are full of flavour much like the way I like to live my life.
Great stuff Mick, love having you part of the team! 💪
