🔥 Hot weather tomorrow 🔥

Due to high temperatures and fire risk in Ashton, we will not be having our first day back to judo tomorrow (27/1). Instead we will hold out for the 3rd of February as our first session back.

Stay safe and cool, hope to see you next week ☺️

At KJC, our juniors line up in one big row, opposite the black belts, in order of lowest to highest belt colour. Our senior non-black belts line up on the sides, with the brown belts exclusively lining up on the junior’s left side.

The highest non-black belt will start the bow by announcing “Sensei Ni Rei” which translates to “Bow to the Teacher”, followed by everyone bowing to each other. 🙇 Bowing is a sign of respect from the coaches to the students and vice versa. Respect goes both ways!

Congratulations! Now you’re ready for some judo! 🥋
