Good weekend at the national Golden Gloves with wins to Shylah Waikai and Jack Leone these kids work so hard and thankfully their efforts have been rewarded. We're very proud of you. Congratulations 2014 Golden Gloves Champions

Tuff night at the office for us. Both boxers lost their bouts. Shylah had her second bout, again giving away age, weight and experience. She boxed well, the other girl was a good boxer as well and unfortunately too big for Shylah. Don't let the loss dint your confidence mate this is how you learn to be great. And Jack who's third bout was against last years Qld champ and a good experienced fighter. While Jack wasn't as good as his opponent he can take a lot out of this fight, not many kids can fight an experienced fighter in their third fight. I'm very proud of both you kids you both had a red hot go and never gave an inch. Keep up the effort the rewards will come.
