Well done Mei Wan Lam (Ashfield) who has won the City West District singles against Michelle Pearse (Wests). Ashfield has won this 2 years in a row now ... Anthia Hart 2019 Mei Wan Lam 2020. Go Ashfield!

Congratulations to Wests on their District Pennants Grade 3 win. All the best in the Regionals.

Congratulations Faye Flint and partner Jeff Finnigan on their win in the final of the City West District mixed pairs against Anthia Hart and Mark Williams. Won in the tie break.

A great day of competitive bowls and good company hosted at Leichhardt Bowling Club.

Special thanks to City West District president Trish Harvey, Michelle Pearse match and CWD committee for their tireless work on the day and behind the scenes to organise and run these events for us all.

Wow the extremes of our weather ... last week our game against Wests Grade 3 pennants was suspended due to extreme heat ... yesterday the game was postponed due to rain. At least with the rain we can find a nice spot curl up and read a good book.

Too hot ... game suspended. It was lovely to catch up with West ladies but coming on and off the green to comply with the heat policy wasn't working for us so we'll finish the game later if we need to.
