Who loves playing Netball in the glorious Melbourne sunshine? ☀️🙋‍♀️

What a brilliant afternoon at training! From our 4.15pm crew through to the 5.15pm and 6.15pm sessions, all ages were out on court soaking up the sun and putting in the work ahead of this week’s games.

There was lots of passing work, plenty of shooting practice and some really solid defence going on. Our coaches had everyone working on their leads and centre passes, and it was awesome to see it all coming together.

Bring on game day!
Good luck to all our teams this week ❤️🖤

🎄Planning your Christmas party? Let it give back to the club! We’ve teamed up with our amazing partners at The Laurel to help raise some extra funds for Essendon Netball Club before the end of the year.

Book any function at The Laurel (Christmas party, work end of year, birthday, you name it) and 10% of the final spend comes straight back to our club as a Laurel voucher.

Here’s how it works:
✔️ Hold your function before 31 December
✔️ Mention Essendon Netball Club when you book
✔️ 10% of your final spend comes back to the club

That means a $5,000 Christmas party = $500 back to ENC! 🙌

You get a brilliant celebration, and the club gets a wonderful boost heading into next season.
🖤❤️🏐

🏐 ☀️ Back on court and loving it! What a brilliant first training session back after the school holidays. Melbourne finally turned on the beautiful weather, and with daylight saving kicking in, we’ve got light on our side for those evening sessions.

It was so wonderful to see all our players back together, smiling and ready to go.

Good luck to all our teams playing this weekend, we’ll be cheering you on!

Just a reminder that grading is on this Sunday for U13s and then the following Sun 25th for U15s. Head to the Stack app for all the details and info you need.

Last training session for the term is officially in the books! Where did this term go?! Footy colours were out in full force tonight, the kids had an awesome time, and the music kept the energy up despite the chilly weather. No rain, plenty of laughs, great way to wrap it up! 🏐

You never really know what someone’s carrying underneath the surface. 💛

R U OK Day is a reminder that connection matters, especially in a club like ours, where we spend so much time together, on the court, at training, cheering each other on. That sense of team doesn’t have to stop at the sideline.

So today, reach out. Send the text. Ask the question. Sit with someone a little longer than usual. You don’t need the perfect words, just genuine care and a willingness to listen.

Because looking after each other isn’t a one-day thing, it’s part of who we are as a club, every single day of the year. 🏐💛
