The very best of luck to our Sydney East Primary Girls Softball Team as they take to the diamond at the NSWPSSA Championships this week in Newcastle! 💙🤍❤️

Congratulations to all of our players on earning the opportunity to represent Sydney East at State level — a fantastic achievement and one to be very proud of!

What a fantastic day of athletics! The full results from today’s Sydney East Primary Athletics Championships are now available.

Results include:
🏃 Track events
🏅 Field events
🏫 School and Zone/District point scores
🥇🥈🥉 Sydney East’s Top 3 qualifiers who will progress to the NSWPSSA Athletics Championships on 21–22 October 2026.

📌 IMPORTANT – STATE QUALIFIERS

If you qualified for State and did not receive a State Information Note today, please see your school Sports Organiser tomorrow.

All students competing at the NSWPSSA Championships must complete their DASH registration and pay the required levy by Friday 25 September 2026.

A huge congratulations to all of our athletes on their performances today, and thank you to everyone who helped make the championships such a successful day!

A huge shout-out and heartfelt thank you to all the incredible teachers, officials and support staff who made our Sydney East Primary Athletics Championships such a fantastic event today! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏅

Thank you for giving up your time, keeping events running smoothly, encouraging our athletes and creating such a positive atmosphere. 🙌

To every official, teacher, coach and volunteer: we appreciate you! Your contribution to school sport and to our students is enormous.

A massive thank you to our SE Primary Athletics Convener - Liane Sharp - Lilli Pilli PS and Assistant Convener Kylie Archer - Burraneer Bay PS for all your time, effort and organisation which helped make the championships a success. 👏

Congratulations to all the athletes on their efforts and achievements and to those who placed in the top three and qualified to compete at the NSWPSSA Athletics Championships early next term!

📍 SOPAC – Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre

We’re looking forward to welcoming our athletes, team managers and supporters to the Sydney East Primary Athletics Championships!

⏰ ARRIVAL & EVENT TIMES
• Athletes to arrive from 7:15am
• Please check in with your Zone/District Team Managers upon arrival in the grandstand seating. Zone/District flags and banners will be clearly displayed. Please allow at least 40 minutes prior to your event time for arrival, and be mindful of potential traffic and limited parking around the venue.

🏃🏻‍♀️ Track Events
• First marshalling call: 7:40am
• Events commence: 8:00am

🏅 Field Events
• First marshalling call: 8:00am
• Events commence: 8:30am

📍 MARSHALLING – IMPORTANT
All track and field marshalling will take place in the ‘Red Rock’ area.

➡️ Students must access the marshalling area from behind the grandstand seating – NOT from the track side.

🅿️ PARKING
Parking is available around the venue but is limited. Parking validation is located down the stairs through the glass doors.

🥪 CANTEEN
The canteen will be open on the day for athletes and spectators.

🚫 CLEAR TRACK POLICY
Please note that NO parents, coaches or spectators are permitted on the inside track at ANY time throughout the Championships.

👕 SYDNEY EAST MERCHANDISE STORE - Located in the 'Melinda Gainsford' Suite at the top of the stairs.
Open from 8:00am — cash and card accepted.

• Souvenir Athletics Hoodies – $60
• Pre-orders can be collected on the day
• Hoodies will also be available to purchase on the day

💪 NSWPSSA QUALIFICATION
Successful athletes (top 3 for al events) will progress to the NSWPSSA Athletics Championships, being held at SOPAC on 21 & 22 October 2026.

If you qualify, please remember to collect your State Information Package and certificate before leaving the Championships. This will be downstairs in the tunnel.

The competition at Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre (SOPAC) for the NSWCHS Athletics Championships is now in Day 2!

A huge congratulations to all of our Sydney East athletes who are competing across the three days. Reaching the NSWCHSSA Championships is an outstanding achievement, and we are incredibly proud of the way you represent your schools and Sydney East on the State stage. 👏

🥇🥈🥉 A special congratulations to all of our Sydney East medallists! An amazing achievement against the very best secondary school athletes from across NSW.

Some outstanding performances, personal bests and plenty of Sydney East spirit on display throughout the championships.

⚽ NSWPSSA BOYS FOOTBALL - BRONZE FOR SYDNEY EAST! 🥉

A fantastic week in Nelson Bay for our Sydney East Boys Football Team, finishing the NSWPSSA Championships with a well-deserved BRONZE medal! 👏👏

The boys put together a fantastic Championships campaign, narrowly going down 2–1 to CIS in a hard-fought semi-final and just missing out on a place in the Grand Final.

🥉 Third in NSW – what a fantastic achievement!

🌟 We are also incredibly proud to congratulate THREE Sydney East players selected in the NSWPSSA Boys Football Team:

Sydney East Primary Athletics Carnival 2026 – Souvenir Hoodies Now Available! 💙🤍🩷

Congratulations to all students who have progressed from their Primary Zone/District Athletics Carnival and will be competing at the Sydney East Primary Athletics Carnival on Monday 14 September, at SOPAC.

Commemorate your achievement by pre-ordering your Sydney East Athletics souvenir hoodie online and collecting it at the carnival.

📍 Please note: Hoodies must be collected in person at the carnival. Students must be in attendance to receive their pre-ordered hoodie.

STORE WILL CLOSE: THURSDAY 10 SEPTEMBER.
