We are looking for volunteers to join our Footy Department in 2027! 🦈

You might already be a Sharks parent/community member looking to take the next step, someone with coaching aspirations, or perhaps you’re new to the area and looking for a great way to get involved in the community.

With our junior numbers continuing to grow and our pathway toward seniors on the horizon, we’re looking for people to help across all levels of our football program, including:

* Coaches β€” senior/head coaches and assistants
* Team manager and age-group coordinators
* First aiders
* General Footy Department volunteers and helpers
* Auskick and superkick helpers

Our numbers are booming, and becoming part of the Footy Department is an incredible opportunity to give back to your community, learn new skills, meet great people and play a part in one of Victoria’s fastest-growing junior football programs.

You don’t necessarily need previous coaching or football experience, if you’re enthusiastic, reliable and keen to contribute, we’d love to hear from you.

By starting this process now, we will have plenty of time to consider the best position for you and to get you inducted.

If you’re interested, or would simply like to have a chat about what opportunities are available, email [email protected] and we’ll get in touch to discuss what role might suit you.

This is an incredible achievement and a testament to the hard work, dedication, leadership and consistency both boys have shown throughout the year. Their success is not only a reflection of their talent, but also the commitment they bring to their teammates, coaches and club every week.

πŸ† 13 & Under Division 7 Premiers!πŸ†

What a season. What a team. What an amazing group of Sharks. πŸ’™πŸ§‘

Our 13 & Under Division 7 girls were rewarded for months of hard work, commitment and determination, claiming the 2026 Premiership in a fantastic Grand Final victory.

This achievement wouldn’t be the same without the friendships formed, the confidence built, the challenges overcome and the countless hours spent training, supporting one another and growing as a team. From the very first training session to the final whistle, this group has represented everything that makes our club special.

We are incredibly proud of every player who pulled on the Sharks dress this season. Your resilience, teamwork, sportsmanship and love for the game have been a joy to watch, and your success is thoroughly deserved.

A huge thank you also to our coaches, team managers, families and supporters. Your encouragement, dedication and belief in these girls has helped create an environment where they can thrive both on and off the court.

Congratulations girls, you've made our club incredibly proud! πŸ¦ˆπŸ’™

NEW BEHIND GOAL NETS – STAGE 1 COMPLETE!

We’re proud to announce that Stage 1 of our new behind-goal netting project is now complete! πŸ¦ˆπŸ’™

This milestone marks the first step in a broader infrastructure project, with even more exciting improvements still to come.

The project has been made possible through the support of the Armstrong Creek Football Netball Club and the Telstra Footy Country Grants Program, highlighting the value of investing back into our club and community.

These new nets do more than enhance our facilities; they create a safer environment for our players, families, spectators and everyone who enjoys our club.

It’s a fantastic example of how the fundraising efforts and support of our members are being reinvested into projects that deliver lasting benefits for our football program and the wider Sharks community.

More to come!🦈

Today is R U OK? Day πŸ’›

At Armstrong Creek Football Netball Club, we know that being part of a club is about more than football and netball. It’s about community, connection, and looking out for one another.

A simple conversation can make a real difference. Whether it’s a teammate, coach, volunteer, parent, friend, or family member, taking the time to ask β€œAre you OK?” can be the first step in helping someone feel supported.

Not everyone who is struggling will show it, so today is a reminder to check in, listen without judgement, and stay connected.

Let’s continue to build a club where everyone feels valued, supported, and comfortable reaching out when they need help.

R U OK? A conversation could change a life. 🦈

Yesterday, our U16 Dunscombe boys took to Herne Hill Reserve for the Division 3 Grand Final against South Barwon, capping off what has been an outstanding season for our group.

While the scoreboard ultimately fell just one point short at the final siren, the result does not define what this team has achieved. To reach a Grand Final is no small feat, and our boys earned their place on the biggest stage through months of hard work, commitment, resilience and belief in one another.

In a game played with tremendous intensity and spirit, the boys represented the Armstrong Creek Sharks exactly as we hope our players will; with courage, respect, determination and pride. They competed fiercely until the very last moment, supported their teammates, and upheld the values and reputation of our club every step of the way.

We are incredibly proud not only of the football they played, but of the young men they have become throughout the season. Their growth, teamwork and dedication have been a credit to themselves, their families, their coaches and our club.

Congratulations to South Barwon on a hard-fought victory and a premiership

To our U16 Dunscombe team: thank you for a season that gave our club so much to celebrate. Your effort, commitment and determination have set a strong example for our junior players and established a standard that will continue to shape our club for years to come. Dispite the result, reaching a Grand Final is an enormous achievement and one that should never be underestimated. The way you represented yourselves, your teammates, your families and the Armstrong Creek Sharks throughout the season was something to be truly proud of.

Although the disappointment of yesterday is still felt throughout the club, it is far outweighed by the pride we have in this group. You have the respect of the entire Sharks community and given us every reason to be excited about what lies ahead.

Hold your heads high, boys. The future is bright, and we cannot wait to see what 2027 brings.
Go Sharks πŸ¦ˆπŸ’™

05/09/2026

Today, we celebrate and thank all of the incredible dads, grandads, and those alike who make our Sharks community so special. πŸ’™πŸ¦ˆ

Whether it's driving to early morning games and after school training sessions, standing on the sidelines through all kinds of weather, helping out around the club, supplying the halftime lollies, or simply being a constant source of encouragement and support, your contribution does not go unnoticed.

From all of us at Armstrong Creek Football Netball Club, thank you for everything you do for our players, teams, and club. We are incredibly grateful for your support and proud to have you as part of our Sharks family.

Happy Father's Day. πŸ’™
